A first round match Friday @ 4:30 in the Fleming Co Tourney. Eagles are 4-0.

The Eagles led by 13 at the half. Lewis Co came back to tie it in the fourth before Fairview held on for the win. Collins 30 Jackson 13 Evans 7 Smith for Lewis had 29.

The game is set for tomorrow night, 12/17.

If not this year, the Devils are loaded with juniors that may circle next year's game on the schedule. Jim Bob has had it out for Russell since his days at Greenup when he called a TO with :03 to play and the game in hand, for the sole purpose of celebrating with the fans and taunting the Devils. Collins picked up 2 fouls in the first two minutes and sat the rest of the first half. Stai sat out the second quarter with two fouls and Gehringer picked up three in the first half. The Devils took advantage of this in the second quarter. Taylor and Davidson seemed to give Russell a spark when they came in. Evans never takes a play off, even in practice. He should have a big year.:thumb:

I think he played about 4 min during the Shelby Valley varsity game and a lot of the JV game. He is doing very well and will probably work into the rotation before long.:thumb:
