Final. Our boys start 0-1. But with the talent we have, the Raiders will rebound quickly. I am expecting big things from the Raiders and our staff this year.

I think Wayne will be third behind Southwestern and McCreary Central. Hearing some really good things out of the Raider camp.

Coach will make a huge difference. Saw Wayne at Southwestern Panorama and they look to be really down. You will see. Coach Curry is a great coach.

Looks like Coach Curry has the Lady Raiders off and running. I think we can be the favorites in the 48th this year.

Tyson is going to be a load. We have alot of great players that will step up this year to help. The Strunks, Goins, Corder, Gregory and Ross to name a few.

I think the Raiders win this one easy. To much firepower.

Who wins on opening day for the Raiders?

According to what I was told, Ryle took it on the chin yesterday from Marion County. Did Ryle run plays this year? 50-24......

After watching Wayne Saturday at Southwestern , they are definitely not a top 10 team in the 12th region. Coach Curry on the other hand has our Lady Raiders looking very good. I knew he was a great hire.

Heard Feldhaus got thrown out for a hard foul on Emily Fox. Coach went nuts and took his team and went home.

We should be pretty good, but cant seem to get over the hump. I am told Robert Jones needs a new beginning....

Coach Jones is currently the coach at McCreary Central. I have been told he is looking for a new gig, ( although I cant verify that at this date) and he and the current coach there are big buddies. Was told he would have free reign to run everything like he wants without any interference.

I was told the other day that Robert Jones may have interest in the Burgin job next year.

I think McCreary will be better than both Wayne and Southwestern. Curry is a very good coach and that will give the Raiders the edge over the other teams in the district.

Maybe if Ashland wins Guru will buy you a nice dinner LRCW!

I think Wayne is better than Corbin, but not Bell County. I also think they are better than Garrad. Wayne is young which makes them really scary for next year.

I think McCreary could suprise some early, but we are so predictable its very hard for us the win a game that becomes a chess match.

It was good. Ill recant. If you got all you could then hats off to you. I just find it hard to believe that Edwards didnt have enough votes. Must have been alot of coaches from the southern part that did not respond is all I can figure. He is a very good player. Maybe best in region, behind the transfer PG there that Wright just got in there, who I understand from Wiremans twitter is/or already has went on a visit to Missouri.

Well if you say they all responded then I guess there is nothing anyone can say. We will just have to take your word for it.

Well the season has come and gone. Dreams of 8-2 are gone as well as beating Casey County and all will be forgiven( shout out to Banker of the South). No playoffs. Where do we go from here. I would strongly suggest if you are a supporter of McCreary Central I would go back and re read all this thread. One it will give you a vision of how misguided we have become in what we think our football program can be the way things are. This is not a slam on our current coach. This goes far beyond that. As I have stated in another thread I dont think this is a coaching problem, but a problem with the Admin and AD that our program is not getting the support they need.

I think I would put Wayne and Mercer ahead of McCreary Central.

So here is my official picks: 1. Southwestern- Great team. Got a good PG transfer in from Canada. Hands down the best team. Steve Wright comes in with both barrels blazing. 2. Wayne County- lost alot to graduation but still have Rodney Woods on the bench. Got big man in according to posts above so that will help. They have a top notch crew moving up from middle school. Dont sleep on them. Could be dangerous. 3A. McCreary Central- McCreary also could be dangerous, but they have under achieved the past few years never really winning the "big" game. Really need to work on more fundamentals to be at the top. Robert Jones maybe past his prime. 3B. Monticello- Trevis Upchurch is still looking for his first district title and will still be looking this time next year. Although the Trojans could challenge the Fighting Robert Jones's for third spot. Both are riding mules in the Kentucky Derby so look for this year to be alot of the same.
