Thank you, Goldie!!!!! I owe you a popcorn and Pepsi when I see you. Much appreciated.

Good job, Les. I can roll with this.

I think the 12th region will be a great Region tourney this year. Pulaski County and Southwestern are definitely the two favorites. I think Pulaski is a hair better than Southwestern as noted. I think East Jessamine and in their right spots as well.

My own personal opinion....one of the top 4 teams will represent the 12th region in Rupp. I think those top 4 teams are all a hair better than the rest of the 12th Region. However.....as Southwestern proved last year...a team can get hot in February and ride that into March. That being said...I still think one of the top 4 teams will win the 12th. I can't wait.

Last year he did his by a coaches poll. I think those are much more accurate and less basis.

I got you.:thumb:

Here are the top 10 players in the CatsPause preview.

1. Taylor Gover-Pulaski County

2. Kody Johnson-Pulaski County

3. Micah Satterly-Boyle County

4. Tryston Ford-Danville

5. Cody Epperson-Southwestern

6. Dagan Shelton-Wayne County

7. Tyson Williams-McCreary Central

8. Luke Hill-Lincoln County

9. Michael Arnett-Boyle County

10. Trenton Edginton-Lincoln County

Cool.

I wonder if he did the same this year with players and coaches.

I somewhat agree with the player rankings. All are definitely deserving and all are the top players in the region.

However.....

I do think Cameron Thomas(East Jessamine) is one of the top 10 players, at least he is when he plays us.

Michael Rexroat(East Jessamine) is another that always seems to be one of the best players on the floor when he plays.

Justin Edwards(Southwestern) is the best player on Southwestern's team, IMO. He has to be one of the top 10 players in the region.

Tryston Ford in my opinion is either the best player in the region or the most talented. I know he was inconsistent last year but he deferred to Jacody, Tevin and Demarcus last year when in all reality the offense should have been ran with him as the lead guard at all times. I think people will realize just how good Tryston is now that they have a.) a new coach and b.) it is truly his team now. Tryston is my preseason prediction to win 12th Region Player of the Year.....IF.....Danville has a good-great season. I can see any of the top 3 players getting 12th Region POY as their teams should have a large measure of success and the awards usually go to the best player on the best team. Tryston is talented enough to buck that trend this year.

Not sure.

I think the team rankings are very accurate but the player rankings need to be ammended to include Justin Edwards from Southwestern. He is THE best player on Southwestern's team and definately a top 10 in the region.

The top 2 teams could be 1A and 1B. Pulaski has a solid junior class and they could start 5 juniors this year. Southwestern returns all 5 starters from last years regional runner up team and added a state champion coach in Steve Wright. This should be a fun year to watch 12th region basketball.

What class is Tryston Ford-Danville in?

According to the Cats' Pause he is a Sr.

Thanks

Yes, Tryston is a senior. I have watched he and Satterly have some great battles since they were about 8-9 years old. I finally got to see them play on the same team this summer. I think those who haven't heard of him will be pleasantly surprised.
