Still waiting for your response when the players' rankings were based on a coaches poll.

Well if you say they all responded then I guess there is nothing anyone can say. We will just have to take your word for it.

Thanks.

Les whats your take on McCreary Central this year?

Garrard could be a welcome suprise this year. Coach Sizemore did a great job of bringing some life back into the program and I believe Coach Cooper will continue. I don't see them winning any games when it comes to the post season, but they could crack the top 10.

I'm anxious to see Garrard County this season. They will be without Andrew York (moved back to Lincoln County), who was the glue that could do a bit of everything in years past. But they do have three nice seniors in Markell Hayes, Josh Stull and Cory Wilson, along with two solid sophomores in Austin Sebastian and Clayton Ray. If they can develop some depth and not turn the ball over then they can be successful.

One thing that will be interesting to see is Coach Cooper's coaching style. Sizemore had them believing they could beat any team in America and played a style that gave them a chance. I suspect Brandon will be very similar in his approach. The positive for Garrard is there is quite a bit of young talent coming up in the next couple of years.

I never said they all responded. I said 'most' responded back. Take a look back at post No. 22. I take pride in my work and to say I didn't do my homework has no merit at all.

Could surprise a few this year. But the eighth, ninth or 10 spot is about right.

It was good. Ill recant. If you got all you could then hats off to you. I just find it hard to believe that Edwards didnt have enough votes. Must have been alot of coaches from the southern part that did not respond is all I can figure. He is a very good player. Maybe best in region, behind the transfer PG there that Wright just got in there, who I understand from Wiremans twitter is/or already has went on a visit to Missouri.

Southwestern is loaded that's for sure. And thanks.

Will York be available/eligible to play for Lincoln County or is his basketball career over?

I think McCreary could suprise some early, but we are so predictable its very hard for us the win a game that becomes a chess match.

Have not heard. I don't know the kid from Adam, other than to recognize him on the floor. But he would certainly be a contributor at Lincoln if he did play.

I agree McCreary has a chance to be pretty good. The Kilby kid is back out he is 6'6 or 6'7. Tyson williams is back probley the most underated player in Region. 6'5" came close to avgeraging a double-double last season. Who know how good Williams could be if we could get him the Ball. Dylan Strunk is back 6'2". The Gregory kid is back 6'2" good shooter. Throw is a Couple 6'3 and 6'4 kids and some good Guards from a good Jv. Team and the Players are there to be pretty Good.

I am very interested in seeing how Mercer is this season. They are very confident in Titan land.

Will get to see them play as they travel to GRC on 12/2.

Southwestern is stacked. Boyle should be fine. One thing though, don't sleep on Garrard County. They're led by sophomore guard/shooting guard Austin Sebastian who was left off of the top 10 players for some reason. By the end of this season, I'm sure whoever made that list will be asking themselves why he wasn't placed in the top 5. This kid can score, shoot off the dribble, and can sky to the basket. Just watch out for him. Don't say that I didn't tell you so!:D

Because he didn't get enough votes from the coaches within the region. Do you not read the other posts in the thread?

He's a great player and I think he'll be top 5 in the district but not yet the region. I'd put him in the top 20 in the region this year. Top 10 in the region in 2012-13 for sure.
