  1. I wonder why the video has been changed. In the original version, there were 4 views. Now there is only 3 views in the clip. The view from behind the offense, which really showed the facemask penalty, is now missing. Why?
  2. Wow, both plays it looks like the officials made the absolute correct call.
  3. So moving forward, SW is playing in the correct class. Initially they would have been 5A, but would have been given the option of playing down because of all the teams opting to play up. Agreed?
  4. Male enrollment at SW last 4 years... 13/14 - 564 12/13 - 525 11/12 - 488 10/11 - 415 4 year average = 498 Now look at the following chart showing the final alignment with teams moving up/down. there are still 11 teams larger than SW playing 4A. And if we had used a 2 year average of 544.5 they would have still fallen in 4A http://khsaa.org/football/realignment/20152018/ListingbyClassbyEnrollmentwithEnrollments.pdf
  5. Here is a link, not sure how to read it yet... http://khsaa.org/football/realignment/20152018/SchoolEnrollment10YearHistory.pdf
  6. No question about it. You can't blame South Warren for this. They just have to line up and play. :thumb:
  7. That is because the KHSAA used a 4 year average to determine the next 4 year alignment. In the past they have used a 2 year average, which would havep ut SW in 5A, but the 4 year average put them in 4A.
  8. It is a blast from the past. :ylsuper:
  9. Gotcha, I didn't understand but now I do. Thanks for the clarification. I thought you were trying to send the football gods to strike down my Pirates. BTW, does your username refer in any way to the old Hellier Hellcats?
  10. I love the defensive games, just love them. I would have liked to have watched this one. To answer gchs, I remember the 97 game, that was a State Championship at Cardinal Stadium.
  11. This is coming from a true Redhound fan. So, dawing from the responses in this thread, it is obvious that Les was completely off base with his accusation. Was Les just being a big cry baby or does he just have no idea what he is talking about? :sssh:
  12. This list blows me away, NCF. Thanks for posting it, I love it.
  13. I think Coach Saylor was at Whitesburg then and they had some pretty good teams.
  14. It must be Blind Squirrel Week. Thanks for all your work doing this contest JD :thumb:
  15. I know how much you like Lawrence, NCF. They are a good football team. The coaching staff is building a good thing there and they are well coached and fundamentally sound. Kiser is a dual thread QB who really stretches you out. Lambert, Dalton and Schaeffer are really great receivers and they have a solid backfield with #3 (name?) and Mosley. I think the offense is ahead of the defense. Point is they are improving and building. I hope they keep working hard and get back to the level they once were. I remember prior to 2003 when the Dawgs used to kick Belfry's butts every year and they were a force to be reckoned with.
  16. First, kudos to Belfry's big offensive line, who really dominated and doesn't get the recognition they deserve. These guys controlled the game and were the difference. Behind them the Pirate backfield was very efficient, taking care of the ball with no turnovers and averaging nearly 11 yards per carry. Austin "El Toro" Hatfield was a man tonight and Lawrence just had no answer for him. I have really enjoyed watching that young man play. He is one tough nut. Keaton Taylor is another Senior who has been Mr Gadget for Belfry and a kid who just goes out there every week and does whatever they ask of him. Nice job running the offense again, Keaton, as usual. Watching that game last night, as Belfry controlled the game on both sides of the ball and had a running clock in the 3rd quarter it was hard to believe that just a few weeks ago Belfry led Lawrence 21-20 after 3 quarters in their first meeting.
  17. Belfry is beginning to look like a Belfry playoff team. It is good to see everyone healthy and gaining reps together. Unofficial stats. BELFRY Hatfield 12 carries, 162 yards, 2TD Taylor 7 carries, 95 yards, TD Willis 5 carries, 62 yards, 2TD 39 carries, 418 rushing LC Kiser 12/23 167 yards, 2 TD, INT 12 carries, 39 yards (leading rusher) Schaeffer 4 rec, 63 yds TD Dalton 4 rec, 79 yds TD 230 Total Yards -
  18. South Warren is a very good team and yes, it certainly bodes well for them that they are playing younger kids. They have a bright future and should be successful, even with the move up in class. In time, perhaps their fans will become accustomed to the success and will be able to handle it without having to take shots at other programs in an attempt to build themselves up. I wouldn't pronounce Bowling Green DOA just yet, they are 55-3 over the last 4 years.
  19. Congrats to the Jackets on the win and to Corbin for a fine season. I'll bet this was one wild game to watch.
  20. I know I'm going to regret asking but what do you mean here Hellcats?
  21. DeSales Prestonsburg Raceland Southwestern Trinity Meade Co Owensboro Boyle Central Caldwell TB 35
  22. Mad may not be the right word. I think they will be ready to play, and they definitely will have more weapons on the field this time around. I doubt Belfry gives up 3 TD's tonight in varsity play. I'm saying 42-12
