From what I can tell Lexington Christian plays really good defense but still won't be enough to stop Danville , Danville will win by 21+

Bell County/Knox County Isnt In the Mountains anymore?? To have a "Mountain Rankings" that includes a 1-4 Bath County team over a 4-0 Middlesboro team and a 5-0 Corbin team is ridiculous.

We still have a long way to go to earn a 1st round home playoff game. Were banged up and even had a starter on the DL transfer this week plus Uhl is still out.

Both Bell's scores came when they had short field ,once was a long kick off return and the other was after a middlesboro fumble. They never once had a sustainable drive against our defense. We moved the ball up and down the field on em all night long, we might of had 1 punt the whole game and that was last night.. this group of kids have best Bell County on every level , Middle school , JV and now varsity so it wasn't a surprise to me.. WE ARE GOOD

We beat em in 1997 in middlesboro , last time we beat them on log mountain was 1988

I know for a fact they never worked , but still allowed everyone to get ready and drive all the way up that stinking mountain for a game they knew once it got dark they couldn't finish. And if the game was at Middlesboro there wouldn't of been any problems , our football stadium is well taken care of.

They knew the lights wasn't working at 1:30 why not postpone it than? It was all about collecting the huge gate money.

Guess Jimmy Rose lied when he said coal keeps the lightson on the hill. The game should of never been started in the first place , bush league from the powers that be at BCHS.

If I remeber correctly It's cause I thought everyone would pick Bell... We've came a long way since than ,, should be exciting.

Actually a nice win for North Laurel , Williamsburg is still a solid 1A school

Middlesboro is a fun team to watch , Barton and Pittman really stood out tonight for the Jackets.

Grant County that bad? We only won 4 games last season for a small 2A school

Big kid with good hands and decent speed.. looking at him reminds me of Randy Moss without the world class speed obviously.. the key is getting him the football , he can go up and get it.

I think Middlesboro will have a good season in 2013 and should compete for a district title , I also think the gap between Middlesboro and Bell County is closing and we have a really good shot at em this season. We're loaded at RB (Best I've seen in awhile) Barton , Uhl , Pittman and Brock are all really good and not much of a drop off and actually have a good line to block for em , Poindexter at WR/DB and Donnie Foister WR/DB are both outstanding players and if Edwards at QB can get em the ball they can take it the distance. We need to Improve on defense , had a HUGE problem wrapping up and tackling last season (yards after contact) I don't know the stat but it probably cost us a few games last season , they better be hitting the weight room hard this summer.
