Coach Scenters is a class act and gets every ounce out of each player on his team. He is a true motivator and cares deeply about each of his players. Congrats and good luck to Coach Scenters....you will be missed in Garrard County.

Junior guard, Emily Fox, needed 4 points on Tuesday night to make the 1,000 point club. She scored 14 in a win over Danville. Congratulations Emily!

The Patriots will be fine in 2011. Maybe the only ones griping are last years senior parents. They got better as the season went on last year. The main reason they got better was because they put Otto at quarterback and moved Hines (should have been done earlier). Otto is back this year, along with some returning linemen and Deon Shanon in the backfield. A very tough early season schedule should get the team ready for the district.

Word was that she might have strained an MCL. Maybe someone from Casey has an update today. Lady Rebels played well last night. Congrats to them and also to the Lady Pats for an outstanding year!

Who will go after this job? What is the condition of the program?

Lincoln does have a back coming out of the backfield to throw to...#32 ....he made an awesome catch and run Friday night for a TD. The move to put Otto at QB was the best move in a long time for Lincoln. And a new starting center helped the line this week too..he replaced the #54 starting center. Those moves show me the staff has it together......and Lincoln will be fine.

How many boys are out for spring ball? Who might have a break out year this year??

75 dropped passes?? The DB"s from the other teams had no trouble catching the passes. I was just stating the facts from last year's season stats. Like it or not, it is usually the QB who gets the glory when things go right and he also gets the negative press for when things go bad.

Lincoln needs to develop a QB. Last years QB completed ony 25 of 100 passes and threw 13 interceptions with only 4 TD passes. Its very difficult for the offense to get anything going when they turn it over a lot of the time.

These games will be played at Lincoln County High School. The story in the Danville paper was wrong (again)....the game in which Lincoln County beat West Jessamine was a regular season Tuesday night game. The paper also had the wrong times for the 45th District girls games.

If Lincoln County doesn't improve A LOT from last weeks scrimmage to next weeks game, it could be a long night for the Patriots. I am sure that Coach Settles and his staff used the film to show the team their mistakes and how to correct them. Not much positive in that scrimmage.

What does he owe them???? How about some LOYALTY! IMO, Lincoln is better off without Yeast...but it should have happenend before now. What kind of coach leaves a school high and dry after being with them for the past year, then being promoted to the OC and allowed to install HIS offense, then run it through the spring and summer....then LEAVE just a few days BEFORE full time practice starts??? What does he owe them???? How about a face to face explanation to the kids that he is jumping ship on!!!! You already know the answer to that question so why do you even insult the intelligence of all who read the posts??? What does he owe them??? Come on. When you say that the parents met with the superintendent, were they in support of Yeast? I think that is what you are saying.
