oldman75 Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 This game is actually next Friday, August 28, correct? Yes, August 28. I'm looking forward to getting started and hope we have a good year.
hmmr1992 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 East Jessamine plays Spencer County this week. I am waiting to see how that one plays out before making too bold of a prediction either way. Spencer County is supposed to have a taleneted front line. East Jessamine's coach said in the Jessamine Journal the other day that this may be his most talented team. That being said this Friday nights' game should shed some light on how tough an opponent East will be at Death Valley. If all the kids are healthy, Lincoln's line should hold their own. They have a lot more speed in the backfield this year. As a Patriot fan I hope they win the Death Valley Bowl. History, however is not on their side. Good Luck Patriots!!!!

ckyfootball Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 If Lincoln County doesn't improve A LOT from last weeks scrimmage to next weeks game, it could be a long night for the Patriots. I am sure that Coach Settles and his staff used the film to show the team their mistakes and how to correct them. Not much positive in that scrimmage.

I would agree that the Anderson County exposed a lot of issues but that is what it was for. They at least know where they need to improve. The Patriots may not see another quarterback throw the ball as well as Jake Russell from Anderson did last week. He is a senior and a four year starter. He threw the ball wherever he wanted. He has a bright future in football if he wanted I would expect. Coach Settles will use this week and next to get the Patriots ready. Edited August 18, 2009 by hmmr1992 spelling
oldman75 Posted August 18, 2009 Author Posted August 18, 2009 Lincoln had three of it's linemen out last week, I hope their back for the Death Valley Bowl.
