Just spoke to one of the Lincoln Football Boosters, He tells me that he spoke to Yeast today and that he is the new OC for Marion Co, and that he didn't plan this that the job at Marion is what he was look for.

More than one person, some high-up, at LC went to bat for Craig Yeast and it is odd that he chose to repay them this way........

Is he a teacher? I thought that I heard that Anthony Epps was their OC.

Could have been, but I'd rather have a former UK receiver as my OC compared to a former UK point guard. :idunno:

Oh I agree but Epps has been coaching with Marion Co for several years and he used to be a pretty good reciever when he was in high school.

True, I remember hearing about he was a great football player when he was in high school. I'd say even Epps would probably not be upset with Yeast taking over as the OC. Epps will always be involved with Marion County sports in some kind of facet as long as he is in Marion County.

I would say that you are right I know that he has a daughter that plays basketball and they say she is the real deal. He has been the middle school head coach for several years for the football team I just heard that he was going to be the OC this year maybe they are going to keep him at the MS.

Either way it goes, Marion County now has Donald Smith(former Harrodsburg Pioneer,WKU rb, High School and College football coach) as Superintendent and Craig Yeast and Anthony Epps involved in some aspect in their school system's athletics. Things should be looking up for Marion County in the future. That's a whole lot of talent guiding the youth of Marion County.

The rest of the state would probably disagree with you. :sssh:

I think he has been a coach at Mercer County, Danville, Lincoln County and now Marion. Only been at each school for one year.

Sounds good for MC.

Did they recruit him...I didn't know they were even looking for an OC. What kind of offense will he bring, or will it just be a continuation of what they did last year?

what does he own them?

That has nothing to do with anything. I would rather have some who knows what they are doing.
