Difference on the game was number 5 for Boyle. The 4th. and 2 and he drugged the pile 12 more yards was unbelievable. 4th. Down catch to set up the first touchdown was huge. Seneca also had a touchdown reception. He’s a man playing with boys. He tackles, he blocks, he can run the ball, he can catch the ball. There is nothing he can’t do.

IMO it will not matter as I don't think Johnson Central beats Covington Catholic in the 2nd. round. RPI takes over in round 3.

Could happen. A lot depends on who's the #1 seed is. Cov Cath with 3 losses will more than likely be the lowest seed and have to play the highest seed in each round they play starting in the 3rd. round. Boyle vs. Frederick Douglas will be a factor on the the RPI as will Scott County vs. Highlands. I personally think Boyle, Highlands, and Corbin are locks for the 3rd. round. The 4th. team will be the Cov Cath / Johnson Central winner and I like Catholic.

RPI seedings don't kick in until week 3. Week 2 will be with the sister districts. Biggest game looking like a Covington Catholic at Johnson Central matchup.

Just me but I think Covington Catholic is the best team in 4A and has the hardest road ahead of them in the playoffs. Host a opening round playoff game and will have to go on the road for week 2,3, & 4 just to make the Championship game.

Another example would be that no ONE would have Covington Catholic at #11th. in any 4A poll. RPI does. I do like the concept of the RPI over if it was just your regions time to host a playoff game. It just needs some adjustments IMO. Couple of years ago Lex Cath beat Boyle in the regular season but come week 3 in the playoffs Boyle had a higher RPI and got to host the rematch game.

Boyle got the running clocked when Jhett Raleigh hit TE Baylor Murphy for a 3rd. quarter touchdown. In the 4th. quarter Murphy got some garbage minutes with the JV to shake off the rust and hit a wide open player for a bomb to end the score at 43-0 Boyle. Defense bended some but didn't break. Looks like everyone made it through without and injuries.
