The Patriots enter this one off of a bye. They are sitting at 6-1 on the season, their lone loss a 21 point set back to Franklin County. They are led by QB Tucker Foster who has accounted for 18 touchdowns on the season. They will have a heavy dose of the run game.

The Rebels enter this one at 6-1 as well, the latest a 43-0 clock runner over Russell County that saw the clock run in the third. Seneca Driver caught a TD and also had a pick 6 on defense. Jhet Raleigh has taken over at QB and is 4-0 with some big wins under his belt.

Both teams sit at 1-0 in the district right now. Who comes out 2-0?

  • Boyle should take care of business in this one.  Lincoln will fight hard for a half and keep it respectable.  Lincoln has the ability to throw the ball but they also have as many INT's as TD passes.

Boyle should take care of business in this one.  Lincoln will fight hard for a half and keep it respectable.  Lincoln has the ability to throw the ball but they also have as many INT's as TD passes.  They make their living on the ground and Boyle is pretty good against the run.  Boyle has allowed 340 yards total rushing this season with half of that coming against LCA.  If Highlands, ST. X and Ballard can't run on the Rebels I just don't see the Patriots having a big enough day to make a difference.

Boyle Big !!

Lincoln is getting better but they just aren't in the same class as Boyle.  I expect Boyle to win this by at least three scores.

I know you said "at least" three scores.  But they beat St. X by two scores.  If they only win by 21 points I will be very disappointed.

Boyle County via running clock.

Lincoln is a physical team; they will put up a fight and slow play with the clock. I think this will be closer than people expect. I'm going 35-7.

Boyle Co. 34-0.

Lincoln is playing good football.
Boyle is playing championship football.

Boyle 54

Lincoln 14

Lincoln County will defer. Boyle County will receive.

I have the Danville game and Boyle County game going.

Flag on the opening kickoff. Offsides on the kickoff team. Re-kick.
