Any word on this situation? Will they even try to hire anyone?

B.L.F., I hate to tell you that I told you so, but don't expect anyone to be hired for that job until late June, if at all. I have watched that bunch down there for years and they could care less about anything football related. Sad but true.

If these rumors are true, this has to be the biggest bunch of bull I have ever heard! Kevin has done a great job at Hazard and is a class act, not to mention a personal friend of mine for over 20 years. Its not worth it coach, find a place where you are appreciated, happy, and at peace!

What does Coach Beder have to do with a basketball thread? Are you that dense or are you just trying to get trouble started? If you have a relevent, rational, intellegent thought ( which I doubt) please share it, otherwise go back to playing your playstation or whatever else it is you do by yourself.

Hazard has to be the favorite, but you have to pull for Jackson City, I mean come on! Just like Hoosiers!!!

I think anyone who acts like an idiot at a ball games should be arrested and barred from campus for life. That would stop it all!

On paper this is a pretty even match-up. No question about it JBS is a team of the future with all the young starters they have. This team could potentially win 2 or 3 regional titles in a row in future years. Will it happen this year? This region is pretty wide open, everyone has beaten everyone. This is a big rivalry, inter county and all, KCC, from what I understand refuses to play JBS in the regular season, why I'm not sure. Close game, I'll take the shooters. JBS by 2.

I would be very suprised if there were 3 applicants for that job, let alone 30.

Finally we have someone who really understands how sports programs succeed and fail! I am so sick of listening to all this git us another coach junk! People who say that have no clue!

No it isn't, its a cover by him to keep people from really knowing the situation there. As I have said, he has never been willing to reasonably dispute anything I have said about the school system or the sports program. All he does is come out and start these absurd, silly, imature, personal attacks. What I say must br true, or otherwise he would offer proof against it. It kind of reminds me of that guy, Baghdad Bob, you know the guy in Iraq who said the Americans weren't there during the invasion and the soldiers were standing right behind him. I put his bantering on that level. :lol:

Its so funny that in all of your bantering, ranting, raving, and outlandish talk you have never ONE TIME rebutted any of the things regarding the statements that I have made about the school system. NEVER ONCE! I guess you do know the truth deep down, even if you don't want to admit it. On another point, you never sent anyone packing, you do as you are told to do,you have NO AUTHOURITY, NO SAY, AND NO POWER everyone knows that! The administration there needs to be replaced. Its a discrace the way the athletic program has deteriorated!

I never said Coach Beder was not a good thing, never once said that. As for suffering under poor leadership in the late 90's, well assuming that is true, it is also true to say that it hasn't faired any better in the years since then. If that is also true, its true to say that it has suffered under terrible leadership from the B.O.E. specifically the Superintendent. If you are into records, direction, and leadership, look at his. Its bad in all areas of sports, attendance, academics, morale, the whole nine yards! So my question is this; why is he allowed to stay when other coaches in all sports have been replaced?

All that anyone there wants to talk about is "the coach" How many coaches has KCC had in the past 6 years? It doesn't take Einstien to figure out what the problem there is. Get rid of the Superintendent and your fortunes will change in all sports and academics.

They could hire now if they wanted to, but they don't care. Isn't that obvious?

I'm sure they will look at them soon, but I will guarantee they don't hire anyone until July. They would hire later if they could.

This job will not be filled until July, and then they will trick and lie some young coach into taking it, then let him go at the end of the year.

You are exactly right, EVERYONE knows the truth about the whole situation and nothing you can say or do will change that! Everyone on here knows it, and everyone in the state of Kentucky knows it.

Lets set the record straight right now Pat Man, First I already told you what the score is in a PM to you, so you can sit back and say whatever, but you and I know what you are all about, which is what I am going to talk about. You love to bring up things 5, 6, or 7 years ago, so please lets do that at this point. I do recall at that time that you had nothing but bad things to say about DJ Stamper and your current superintendent. I guess a little job does make people change their tune, but really, you don;t have to blow the horn so hard. Anyway, you can say that I am negative or vicious or whatever, but I challenge anyone on this board to look at anything I have posted in regards to this school system and show me where I am wrong! I defy you to do that! Mark my words right now, there will be some changes and it will involve one of the people I have mentioned! Pat Dad, you are absoultely correct! Everyone knows what they are trying to pull there, its obvious as a runnaway mack truck. You can count on a change at the end of the season, and a return of someone. This has been in the works for awhile. Again, people there are going to have to take a stand against the machine, and you know who I am talking about!
