Seneca has a new coach Ted Leasor, he cleaned house and ran off or kicked off a bunch of players. The 8 freshmen are probably just the ones that get to dress varsity.

I got it to work, I run statcrew on a MacBook Pro running Parralels with Windows (in addition to El Capitan). Took me a few minutes to figure out how to create an xml file and then where to find it. But then import was easy, hardest part was making sure to click just so on columns when creating new columns click wrong and it won't select and have to start over, took me about 8-9 tries. I only had 1 game that I didn't add data to yet, now it is done. Thank you again

In Louisville, Manual Stadium tops the list, old but well kept for most part, for fans restrooms and concessions could be updated, but love the press box, most don't like the spiral staircase, but it's part of the history, I was told it came from an old Navy vessel. I love the vantage for doing stats, can see whole field. Many press boxes in Louisville are too low for a good view. Central has a nice setup, parking is scarce and can be tight to move from side to side but to build into an existing city block including a building is different, and finally gave Central a home that is all theirs. Most of the other Louisville venues are pretty standard without really standout features, Trinity is very nice and like the feel without a track, St X is nice if you ignore the visitor side.

Thanks for linking that tool, I have been printing out my play by play and doing tag a game on my iPad then matching with video thru Hudl. This should save me about an hour a week.

I fell into the trap of looking at non district games and applying that to district games. Doss does indeed have a pretty tough schedule with losses to PRP, S. Oldham, and Butler, and still have non district game vs Ballard. However they are 2-0 in district play. Also with Bullitt East, they graduated a lot and started off 0-5 but are now 2-0 in district play. Bullitt Central started off great but now 0-2 in district and on a 3 game losing streak.

Our last three games are Doss, @ Iroquois, Atherton. We should be heavily favored in all 3. moving down to 5A into the district with Doss, Fairdale, and Iroquois who all had good years last season, a little surprised at their records this year, Fairdale played a tough non league schedule and played us tough in a downpour. Doss is 3-3, and Iroquois 2-4 with neither playing a tough schedule. Atherton is 2-5 and has put up some points this year but also haven't played a tough schedule. I think we cross over with the Bullit/Oldham district. If that is true South Oldham looks good 4-1 going into tonight at Nelson Co. Bullit Central 4-2 is putting up big numbers in the passing game, North Bullitt 5-1 doing well with the new coach, Nelson County is 2-4, Bullit East 1-5, and Oldham County 0-5. If we win out we would probably host Nelson County or Bullit East. Too early to try to figure out all the match ups but we scrimmaged Bullit East this year and had success, they seemed down quite a bit from last years team that we also scrimmaged. I think Fairdale would like a 2nd or 3rd round rematch with us, and South Oldham, Bullitt Central and North Bullitt are all good teams that would be someone you can't look past. We aren't looking past anyone and are preparing for Doss on a weird week with school out on Monday and Tuesday. Practicing without a school day would have been a huge detriment a few years ago, but first with Coach Nichols and now with Coach Abell we are changing the culture, to be honest The entire FCHS has changed since we got here, just this week we are no longer an "at risk" school academically.

Was surprised to see a end of first quarter score of Atherton 18 Fairdale 6 on Twitter last night, but obviously Fairdale turned it around scoring 53 points unanswered.

Fern Creek got the ball first, drove 51 yards in 5 plays and scored on a 2 y run by Delquan Wimberly, kick blocked. Then Southern got the ball, after 3 straight procedure penalties, QB Cameron Skinner was sacked for a 10 y loss, then a run for no gain. Facing 3 & 35 the Trojans quick kicked, getting the ball past midfield. The Tigers offense quickly got another 5 play scoring drive, this time Wimberly scored from 24, Evan Flener kick. Southern then fumbled and Fern Creek took over on the SHS 21 yard line. Lamarius Kinslow caught a 13 y TD pass from Shamar Bryant, kick blocked. With 3:35 left in the first quarter Fern Creek led 19-0 and Southern had just 3 plays on two possessions for a net of negative 14 yards. Southern went 3 and out, FC took over on their own 14. The Tigers marched 82 y in 9 plays but Kyree Hawkins was hit and stripped by the Trojans and Southern took over on their own 4. After a -3 y run Trojans were facing 2 &13 on their own 1 yard line, QB Skinner keeps the ball behind his line a big oil up is slowly moving forward when the ball pops loose and Lamarius Kinslow snags it and returns it for a short defensive TD, Flener kick. This was the theme of the night, with Fern Creek's offense moving the ball well, and the stingy defense holding the Trojans to a net of just 15 yards for the game. The last two scores where QB Shamar Bryant on a 48 y keeper on a designed run, Flener kick, and lastly Jamison White 3 y run, kick failed. Fern Creek ran 37 times for 241 yards, surprisingly led this week by QB Shamar Bryant with 8 carries for 84 yards and 1 TD, Bryant completed 6 of 9 passes for 95 yards and 1 TD, with no interceptions. Jamison White had 13 carries for 75 yards and 1 TD, Delquan Wimberly had 7 carries for 56 yards and 2 TD. Kyree Hawkins rushed 3 times for 18 yards. Kinslow had 3 catches for 50 y and 1 TD, Hawkins 1 catch for 41 y. Lamarius Kinslow the WKU signee was a standout on both sides of the ball, 3 catches for 50 y and 1 TD, and 9 tackles, 6 tackles for loss including 2 sacks, and a forced fumble that he also recovered for the TD. Kyree Hawkins had 8 tackles, Latrell Streater had 4, Tim Long 4. Southern rushed 27 times for a net 5 yards, Jaylin Talbott rushed 5 times for 11 yards. Cameron Skinner completed 2 of 6 passes for 10 yards and 1 interception.

Unimpressive victory is pretty good description. A casual fan might have expected a blowout just from looking at comparative scores from Fern Creek 14-0 win over DeSales, and DeSales beating Fairdale 42-6. But that game Fairdale had suspended several players including their starting QB, RB. I think it would have been a closer victory for DeSales with those guys playing. Fern Creek got the ball first and drove to the 8 yard line but a two dropped passes set up a short FG. Fairdale got a big 73 yard return down to Tigers 11. But a big hit on 3rd and goal by T'Zaiah Harris on Max Cole knocked the ball out and backwards, Fairdale faced 4th and goal from their own 16. Garcia's pass was intercepted by Lamarius Kinslow at the 2, he get a block or two and heads down the FC sideline, taking it to the house escorted by a couple more FC defenders. But the side judge threw a sideline warning flag and blew his whistle, at least 10-15 yards behind the play and it nullified the return, Tigers took over on their own 40. They said inadvertent whistle, normally the first sideline warning does t involve a whistle or stop a play. That drive stalled out, and after a punt Fairdale took the lead on a 79 y pass from Dylan Garcia to Tyler Koch, Max Cole kick. At halftime Fairdale led 7-3. I was concerned here, the Tigers offense hasn't come out of halftime well this year only scoring 6 points in 3rd quarter in 1st 5 games. Fairdale got the ball first in 2nd half, but went 3 and out. Fern Creek offense picks a good time to get hot in 3rd quarter, putting together a 7 play 57 y drive. Lamarius Kinslow scores on 33 y pass from Shamar Bryant, Flener kick. Fern Creek now up 10-7 6:23 3rd qtr. After a Fairdale 3 & out, Fern Creek 3 & out, then Fairdale 3 & out, Fern Creek take over on own 31 at end of 3rd qtr still leading 10-7. On first play of 4th, Devon Blincoe breaks a 67 y TD run, Flener kick. Tigers lead 17-7. Fairdale forced to punt again after 2 big sacks. Fern Creek drives down to the 2 yard line but a bad snap on 1st and goal led to an interception on 2nd and goal. Fairdale got 2 first downs and moved into FC territory but stalled on downs. Fern Creek was able to run the clock out, aided by a roughing the punter penalty with under a minute left that allowed a couple kneel downs to finish the game. Each team had a passing TD but really couldn't get their passing games going in the steady rain. Jamison White led all rushers with 19 carries for 112 y, Devon Blincoe had 5 rushes for 69 y and a TD, Kyree Hawkins rushed 3 times for 29 yards. Delquan Wimberly 8 carries for 22 y. Shamar Bryant completed 6 of 16 passes for 79 yards and 1 TD, with 2 interceptions. Lamarius Kinslow had 5 catches for 67 yards and 1 TD, Jamison White 1 catch 12 yards. For Fairdale Dylan Garcia completed 7 of 21 passes for 114 y and 1 TD, with 1 interception. Max Cole rushed 12 times for 11 yards, Garcia 5 carries -23 yards. Tyler Koch had 3 catches for 99 yards and 1 TD, Max Cole 2 catches for 17 y Fern Creek's defense led by Fred Harris with 7 tackles, Tim Long had 6 including 3 sacks, Latrell Streater had 5. For Fairdale William Smith had 9 tackles, Breshae Bartee had 8, Max Cole 7, Jake Roberts 6, and Tyler Koch 4.

The DeSales vs Fairdale game had Fairdale's starting QB, RB, and 3-4 other guys including their two big stud linemen suspended. I still think DeSales wins but probably not quite as ugly. Tonight was a messy rain game, Fern Creek fumbled 7 times (lost 1) threw 2 INT, Fairdale didn't play a pretty game either. And the refs were a factor, Fern Creek was leading 3-0 and Fairdale facing 4 th and 15 on FC 16. Lamarius Kinslow intercepts the ball on his own 2 and takes in 98 to the house, with him already on the 30 yard Line out to score the trailing Line judge throws a flag on FC for sidelines warning, and blows his whistle. At this point the Fairdale QB had already been blocked and Kinslow had a caravan of 4-5 defensive guys with him and no Bulldogs within 20 Yards and ball comes back to Fern Creek 40.

What a game! Fern Creek took the lead just halftime. A 55 yard run by Kyree Hawkins sets up a 13 y TD Catch by Lamarius Kinslow from Shamar Bryant, Evan Flener kick. DeSales just kneeled it and Tigers led 7-0 at half. Momentum swung quickly to the Colts when FC fumbled the opening kickoff of 2nd half and DeSales recovered on FC 17. DeSales got a 1st and goal on 1 but were stuffed 4 straight plays by the smaller Fern Creek defense. Both Lines for DeSales are HUGE. Maybe bigger than Manual's. Tigers couldn't get a first down and played most of the 3rd quarter on their side of the field. But the defense continued to hold when it counted. At the start of the 4th quarter Fern Creek got another huge play when Backed up to their own 4 Shamar Bryant connects with Lamarius Kinslow who stiff arms two colts before being dragged down 78 yards later. It took a couple plays and Kyree Hawkins punched it in from the 10, Flener kick. Tigers led 14-0 which would be the final. A good effort by both defenses. DeSales defense mostly stopped up our middle rushing attack of White and Wimberly but we were able to big play them with Hawkins and Kinslow. I don't think the Colts played a bad game at all especially defensively. Neither the Fern Creek nor DeSales fans were used to such a two-way defensive battle, and a couple big plays helped the Tigers win the game.

Butler rushed 19 times for negative 19 yards.

Fern Creek dominated Butler out gaining the Bears 439 yards to 52. 23 first downs to 3. Butler was held scoreless, with negative yardage and not even a first down until after 10 minutes left in 4th quarter. Jamison White led the FC rushing attack with 13 carries for 180 yards and 2 TD. Delquan Wimberly had 15 carries for 47 yards, QB Shamar Bryant had 12 carries for 44 yards and 2 TD, and Kyree Hawkins had 5 for 38. Bryant completed 6-13 passes for 104 yards and 1 TD and 1 INT. WKU signee Lamarius Kinslow had 4 catches for 65 yards and 1 TD. Kyree Hawkins caught 1 for 32 y. Kinslow also led the Tigers with 9 tackles, including 1 sack and 4 tackles for loss. Andre Girton had 5 tackles, 4 were for loss. For Butler Jamal Britt completed 4 of 5 passes for 63 yards and 1 TD, Jared French completed 3 of 9 passes for 8 yards and 2 interceptions. Desmond Miller had 3 catches for 2 yards, Christion Ramsey had 2 catches for 38 yards and 1 TD. Desmond Miller led the Bears in rushing with 7 carries for 9 yards.

Fern Creek got their running game going early and often against a Moore team that was outmanned yet scrappy. Tigers QB Shamar Bryant completed 6 of 12 passes for 108 yards and 3 TD, and ran 4 times for a net -10 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jamison White was the workhorse for Fern Creek with 13 carries for 164 yards, Delquan Wimberly had 6 carries for 92 yards and 1 TD, Devon Blincoe had 7 carries for 69 yards (a long TD was wiped out by an illegal block 25 yards behind the play after Blincoe had already scored, a backup OT will hear about that one in film today). Kyree Hawkins had 5 carries for 37 yards, and 1 catch for a 22 y TD. Lamarius Kinslow had 5 catches for 86 yards including a pair of 17 yard touchdowns. Montreiz Kirk added a late touchdown run. Moore had a strong first drive going 80 yards in 6 plays, scoring on a 27 yard pass from Sincere McMurray to his brother Jerrick McMurray. And on their first drive of the 2nd half S. McMurray tossed a 78 y TD to Russell Vaden. McMurray completed 12 of 28 passes for 230 yards and 2 TD, 1 interception. Terrance Weaver was the leading rusher for Moore with 10 carries for 19 yards, Russell had 4 catches for 125 yards and 1 TD. Jerrick McMurray had 3 catches for 42 y and 1 TD. I will post defensive leaders after I can review film. It was a rough night taking stats with no spotter in press box for stats or announcing, and Moore's jerseys are a PITA, black jerseys, with Navy blue numbers outlined in white spent most of my time trying to figure out their players numbers. Fern Creek looked great in their new white uniforms.

Despite the size advantage we hung with them and was a 2 OT game until we gave up a big punt return in the 4th qtr. and even then we responded and cut it to 3 puts again. Of course they added a late score to seal it. We hung in the game despite allowing big yardage by holding them to 1/4 in Redzone, with a blocked field goal returned for TD and 2 interceptions in Redzone.

They did wear on our defense, 79 plays to our 40. Manual has a bunch of big linemen, hurt us on both sides

Fern Creek scores first when Kyree Hawkins blocks a 29 y fg attempt then scoops it and goes 67 yards for the score, kick failed 6:19 1st qtr. Eric Niemann puts Manual ahead with a 26 y catch from Tim Comstock, Nicholas Kopp kick 1:09 1st. Delquan Wimberly scores on 39 y run, 2 pt run failed. 00:49 1st qtr. Manual goes ahead again 14-12 when Andre Teague runs in from 1, Kopp kick 2:10 2nd qtr. No scoring in 3rd quarter. With 9:40 left in game Manual extend the lead when Antonio Hassell appears to be tackled for no return but breaks free for a 62 yard punt return. Lamarius Kinslow closes the gap on a 30y catch from Shamar Bryant. Kick blocked. 21-18 2:25 4th quarter. Manual recovered a short kick to the second level then a penalty punt them across midfield. Troy Henderson sealed the game for Manual with a 47 y run, Kopp kick. Final 28-18. For Manual Henderson had 14 carries for 131 y and 1 TD, Comstock had 11 carries for 40 yards. Reese West had 9 carries for 37. Comstock completed 16 of 34 passes for 196 y and 1 TD with 2 INT. Jalen Carter had 4 catches for 67 y, didn't play in second half. Matt Motley had 4 for 49. Niemann had 3 for 43 and 1 TD. Keenan Bilyeu had 4 solo 2 assists, DeAndre Neal had 3 solo 3 assists For Fern Creek Delquan Wimberly had 10 carries for 57 y and 1 TD. Jamison White had 7 for 44. Shamar Bryant completed 5 of 11 passes for 101 y and 1 TD and 1 INT. Lamarius Kinslow had 3 catches for 46 y and 1 TD, DJ Brown 2 for 55. Kinslow led all tacklers with 9 solo 7 assists, Fred Harris had 6 solo 6 assist, Kyree Hawkins had 5 solos and 4 assists.
