Mercer has probably been the best team in the 12th Region the last couple years, but have been eliminated early on by Somerset. It looks like they're ready to take the next step.

Tanner Perkins will be tough to beat, but if Somerset plays the way they did against Pulaski, I think the Jumpers will come out on top.

Rock and Somerset are both 4-1; Pulaski 3-3, Casey is 0-6.

What is the name of the lefty Scott Co. threw against pulaski?

One of those games that effect every other game the rest of the week due to the number of pitchers burned. Sounds like a good one.

Pretty good game from what I hear; three hits total. Scott Co. had a nice lefty that Pulaski just couldn;'t seem to figure out.

As long as he re-entered in the same batting slot, shouldn't be a problem. The better question was whether he received warm-up pitches. That's a no-no for a pitcher that was already in the game. Masten should make that the basis of his protest if it in fact did happen.

I had heard that Price had a bout with mono, but he played against Pulaski and must be relatively healthy if he is to pitch vs Rock.

Apparently Scott has a pretty good pitcher (the kid that beat Lexcath). Will he throw this game for Scott?

I'd have to say the 12th is a much, much better baseball region than basketball. But you're right, pretty wide open.

Somerset is battling some injuries right now, but should be healthy come tournament time. Pulaski is probably still too young. Rockastle is very good when Perkins is on the hill. Mercer, West and Boyle, along with Somerset, are the teams to beat right now. Throw in Lincoln, East, and Rockastle and you have teh region's top teams.

Rock may have hit three homers, two for sure. I'm not sure who hit them. Pulaski hit two solo shots. You're dead on about Perkins. It may be premature to say this, but he may be making money playing baseball right out of high school. I wish I knew how Rockastle keeps coming up with stud pitchers.
