Corbin had one really bad inning with Pulaski Co. scoring 6 runs on 1 hit, 4 BB, a couple of errors, a balk and a wild pitch. The Redhounds outhit Pulaski 9-4, but Pulaski's pitchers did a good job of getting out of some big jams and also only issued 2 walks.

 

Salmons took the loss for Corbin giving up 6 runs in two innings with Smith and Jones pitching in relief. Smith started for Pulaski Co. with Greer relieving him and picking up the win with 5 good innings of work.

Cashen was the starting catcher last year for Corbin and has not pitched since his sophomore year. He will probably be used for spot duty this year on the mound as Corbin does not have any other experienced catchers. The starter two years ago is now at Lynn Camp and another back-up catcher was released from the team.

 

Hendrickson and Smith will more than likely end up being the top two pitchers, but both played basketball and are still getting their arms into shape.
