19 Seniors with at least one college offer is unreal. Sure most of them are D3,NAIA but still.

Oh yeah! His offers will start picking up once the season is over. But the last play of the game Cov Cath ran Cover 3 and Highlands just had Tayden run up the seam, which is the weakness of Cover 3. It was not like Cov Cath lost because of a blown coverage. When it mattered Highlands coaches put the right players in position to make play when they needed to.

I don't mind the play call. They just have to execute. They were no jam/re route from the person that was aligned head up of Tayden.

He was covered! It's just that the person guarding Lorenzen did not do a good job walling and re-routing.

If it was me, I’d run the Iowa State Defense. Not too many HS run their defense. Then once they go two TEs, I’ll bring out the 3-4.

Sounds like he knows who he’s going to throw the ball to before the ball is even snap and then pushes the panic button when his 1st target isn’t open. Going to be a huge test for him. haven't played a team like Cov Cath! Great opportunity to show what he can do!

Cov Cath is for sure a lock. You have to add Beechwood to the mix as well!

They ought to reach out to either Moeller, St.X or McNick. Moeller is playing Louisville Trinity. St. X is playing a school in Indy and McNick is playing Ironton.

Stopping the run also includes keeping Cash Harney in the pocket and not letting him scramble.

SK needs to win the battle in the trenches and force Harney stay in the pocket and have him beat you throwing the ball downfield. They do those two things it’ll be a ballgame.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. The Colonels hung in and went neck and neck with a powerhouse Elder football team. Only scoring a FG on the first drive after a 97 yard KOR and then have a 50 yard TD getting called back are things that’ll cost you a game when you’re playing a powerhouse program like Elder. Margin of error is small when you’re up against a team like Elder. But hell of an adjustment by Coach E to go more 11 personnel and 10 personnel against Elder’s 3-4 front. 3-4 defense matches up really against 12 personnel which was shown in the first half. and it’s very vulnerable against 11 and 10 personnel which we saw in the 2nd half. Colonels are going to be alright. Gotta get the run defense figured out. Elder had over 180+ rushing yards.

Yeah Badin beating Hamilton was a surprise for me, especially since Hamilton has multiple D1 Prospect on their DL.

I mean Ryle ran all over Cov Cath last Friday and Elder’s OL is a lot bigger and they are better than Ryle. Games are won and lost in the trenches and idk how Cov Cath OL and DL are going to be able to hold up.

Elder would run laps all over Ryle.

Hard to win ball games when you give up 150+ rushing yards on the ground. Got another huge test next week against Elder. OL and DL are a lot bigger than Ryle and they have way more speed.

It is more of calling a spade a spade. Transfer portal is already making it difficult for HS QB and college coaches are always finding a reason to not recruit somebody.

Did not win the job at Elder, you transfer. Understandable, Elder's QB is a legit D1 Prospect. Does not win the job at Cov Cath, he transfers. Cash is an amazing athlete. However, Coach E has developed some great QBs that have gone on to play college ball. What if he did not win the job at Beechwood? Would his parents have pulled him out of beechwood to go somewhere else? I am not blaming the kid at all, this is more on the parents because 3 HS in 3 years and they are all within a 20 minute radius of each other is a huge Red Flag for college coaches. What is gonna happen when he gets to college and he does not win the starting job? The transfer portal is not rainbows and sunshine. Lotta good ball players have put their name in the portal and ended up without a home.

He’s 6’3 220 and can throw. He fits the eye candy of a D1. But the offers he’s getting right now are not committable. If he keeps getting D1 offers after this season, that is when the offers will become committable. But 3 schools in 3 years and each school is within a 20 minute radius of each other is a huge red flag. College coaches are always looking for a reason to not recruit somebody.

Not sure. If he is ruled ineligible, it could affect the offers he will get cause Junior year is usually when the offers start coming in. Does not help that he has been at 3 schools in like 2 years, especially when these 3 schools are all within a 20 minute drive of each other. Major red flag if you are trying to get recruited.
