Yeah these offers are not legit offer. If you are getting an offers as a freshman or sophomore. It just means schools are interested. They don't become committable until after junior season.

As long as he makes the defense simple for the kids and he makes them run to the ball, they’ll be alright.

Dixie had a new DC last season. Their DC from the year before took the HC job at Purcell. Going to be some growing pains and guys are going to be a little timid. New system + a gauntlet of a schedule. Defense is going to struggle a little bit. But I think it will be different this year now that these have had a year under this system.

JV record is not the end of all things. JV ball is about development and allows the younger guys opportunity to get evaluated and compete. While yes, you want to win and you are competing to win. The ultimate goal is to get the younger guys ready for varsity football.

O'Hara is by far the best QB in NKY. Litmer and Evans are solid QBs. Both are very comfortable in the pocket. Cash is a great athlete, but like you said passing is not his strong suit, especially when he only throws one pass in the first minute of his highlight film on HUDL. First thing a college coach will say when he see that is great athletes, but he can't throw.

Only thing Anderson has to offer that highlands is lacking is they are playing better competition. But if you look at Anderson's schedule outside of Winton Woods, the competition level is not going up by a whole lot.

it’s very common to see kids lie about their height and weight on Twitter as well as put up inaccurate 40 times and I’m sure there are kids on highlands roster that aren't being fully truthful about their height and weight. There’s a reason why whenever college coaches go and visit recruits, they usually get a picture alongside them so other coaches can see whether or not they’re exaggerating their height and weight.

We are not bashing the kid. I am just saying that if you are good enough teams will find you.

Anderson was State Runner Up for Division II last year. Dreyer has done an amazing job over there. Winning a state title is not easy no matter where you go. The family thinks this is what is best for the kid, especially since junior year is the year you start racking up the D1 offers. But at the end of the day, I am a firm believer that if you are a good ball player, schools will find you!

If you are a good player and are actively putting yourself out there like going to camps, teams will find you. Does not matter where you go.

I think he is at best a D2/NAIA player. Now it wouldn’t surprised me if Morehead offers him. But I don’t see a D1 FCS or Group of 5 offering him. He got great balance and is hard to take down in the open field. But he doesn’t have unbelievable speed and he doesn’t have the arm strength for QB.

Won't be as much pressure at Conner as their was at Beechwood. If I had a guess, I think he doing a lot better health wise now than he was when he was Beechwood.

If you do not have an FBS offer by now, the chance of getting one are slim to none. There is a chance for FCS, but it will most likely be an FCS non scholarship.

If he gets an offer to any D1 school. It’ll be a D1 non scholarship school like Morehead. They offer almost everybody in the state of Kentucky that is somewhat a decent player.

If you’re a half decent player that goes to school in the Diocese of Covington. TMU will offer ya since Diocese of Covington kids automatically get 50% off tuition before any academic and athletic money comes into play.

He’s not going FBS. FBS are onto 27s, depending on his grades, he could pull a non scholarship FCS. But he’s prolly gonna end up at a D2/NAIA.

I see a lot of coaches reposting their kids getting scholarships and whatnot. Very common for HS Coaches to go on Twitter and DM college coaches too.

Mt. Carmel is a powerhouse program in Illinois. I can’t wait to see how Moeller does! Especially since they got a 6’8 OL transfer from Taft.

Agree 100% and You’re talking about a dime a dozen player. But even with Michael Mayer, both LaSalle and Fredrick Douglas had way more talent in their rosters that year and also had more guys that would to play college football than the 2019 Cov Cath team. Having a top 300 player helps, but Cov Cath doesn’t win those games without it the strong culture and standards that Coach E and that staff has set on those kids.

Talent is important. But it’s not the most important. You have to have a good culture and you have to know your personnel.

People in Hebron are not sending their kids fo schools like Cov Cath, Beechwood and Highlands solely because of athletics. Those are 3 of the better schools in the state of Kentucky when it comes to academics. I grew up in Hebron and I can tell ya that is a growing area in NKY. There’s a lot of apartment complexes and new neighborhoods that being built in Hebron. Their was a new elementary school built a little over 10 years ago.

Heck of a career he had. It was time for him to hang it up, pass the reigns onto the next generation and enjoy retirement and his family.

Nah he should be playing both ways. He has a way better chance of getting recruited to play college football as a safety than a QB, especially when the first minute of your HUDL highlight tape is you scrambling and running the ball. IMO, I think he is a better Safety than QB
