The Rams from Hamilton Ohio travel to Edgewood to take on the Colonels.

Both teams played local rivalries last Friday.  Badin played their in town rivals Hamilton High School.  The Rams of Badin won 38-20.  Badin won with a ground attack with 150 yards rushing on 29 attempts and controlling the clock.  Badin only attempted 7 passes the entire night.

Dixie came off their southern county rivals falling 20-10.  Dixie gave up 198 yards on the ground in 33 rushes last week.  So I expect Badin to continue pound the ball this week. Dixie needs to shore up the rush defense, clean up the penalties, and keep their QB clean to come away with a win.

From the sound of things, Dixie needs to make Badin 1-dimensional.  Stop the ground game and force them to pass the ball.  Easier said than done.

Give me Badin by 14+.  Traditional powerhouse in Division III in the tri-state area.

They usually are every year.  They don't do anything remotely fancy, but they play hard-nosed, and play very fast and disciplined.

Hoping my Colonels can step it up this week.

Yeah Badin beating Hamilton was a surprise for me, especially since Hamilton has multiple D1 Prospect on their DL.

If Dixie can get out early and jump on them, and make them throw the ball, they have a puncher's chance.

However, if Badin plays from the front and can grind out 13 play drives on the ground, Dixie is cooked.

Would LOVE to see Mason have a great night, get Dixie out in front, and see what happens.

That said, I would say Badin by 15+.

Having watched the Badin/Hamilton game, Dixie will have their hands full. The Badin defense is solid and quick. They have speed at the skill positions as well on offense. Their RB can scoot.

I would kick away from their return guys.

“Their RB can scoot”. I love that line.

Good luck to Dixie! Last week I believe #6 played really well on defense. Hopefully they can slow down the rushing game of Badin.
