In my opinion Boyle will be the most athletic, fast team on the Field. Quissenberry - Flashy, fast, sure handed, great defender as well. Best Athlete I’ve seen play and is only a junior. Bodner - Just a great hard nosed football player. Runs super hard with a forward lean. Really good defensive player as well. Senior D. Brown- very similar to Quissenberry with speed and athleticism offensively and defensively. Junior G. Brown - don’t let him get in the open field unless you are sub 10.8 in the 100m. Junior S. Dawson - very Athletic kid. Can throw it 60 yards downfield or tuck it and run. Senior B. Driver - Most improved from last year. Love his motor! MLB/TE. Junior CC gonna be Bigger, and gonna be disciplined. Disciplined, fundamental football can be the great equalizer for speed and athleticism. I look for this to be a great game between 2 tradition rich programs. Makes a huge difference when both teams have truly “been there, done that”. No score prediction for me, but I think the Rebels just have too many different weapons offensively. They will score enough to win with a solid defensive game in their back pocket.

With all these ifs and buts allowed here. What If Corbin didn’t have the twins. Running clock. Hurdling rule is real, don’t do it. Lower your pads and get 3 extra yards that way. That’s why ifs and buts don’t work well. Congrats Corbin on a 12-1 season. Boyle has to win 2 more. All the teams from here on out were good teams. No one should be overlooked.

First High school NIL deal in Kentucky?
WYW replied to Tigerpride94's topic in KY Football (High School)
Have to be careful here. Twin on the Left has a BIG M on his chain if you zoom in. Saying this. If that was a picture when they got to Corbin, what did they get when they Flipped after week 5, and when they signed the NIL deal yesterday? Boley already has a NIL deal. This is sad to me. High school Football is changed forever. -
Boyle is a great team. But it’s hard to say they beat Male, Trinity, FD, or Corbin. They will get the opportunity most likely on the latter 2 I named. Can they beat all 4? Yes! Time will tell on 2 of them. I think they have the best offensive player in the state. Also think they have the most dynamic offense in the state. Lots of speed. They are a fundamental, great tackling team. Their weakness is the defensive backfield in my opinion.

From my perspective I think BC got up to 14-0 the first 2 series and put it in cruise control too early. BC game changed. Then Catholic fought back and the momentum changed. LC has a very talented team and will most likely compete for a 3A title. BC has some defensive clean ups to make for sure. But it’s my opinion no team in the state of KY will stop Quissenberry, Brown, Bodner, Dawson and the other Brown. Geordan or however you spell his first name. -

Yep. I looked right over that statement. Sorry.

What is this based from? Reason I ask is the rankings are all over the place. How were these percentages generated? Massey, Calpreps, KSR are similar. I guess the thing we can agree on with all these ratings is that each class is more wide open than initially thought.

KHSAA Board of Control meeting (9/13/23)
WYW replied to Tigerpride94's topic in KY Football (High School)
My opinion is, transfers aren’t going away. 8/10 will get approved that shouldn’t and 2/10 won’t and should. Why hurt the kid and let him be on a team at practice and off the streets. We can have NIL in highschool but kids can’t go where they want to play? I realize my line of thought may be way off by old school people. But I’m old school myself, things change. But the most fair thing in my eyes is to just let it go, open the portal. Let the kids go. Even the field with the private schools. -

I’m gonna say Freddie D by 3 touchdowns. The new kids in town are game changers. But it will take more than 2 to stop FD. They have a few D1 players that will line up across from them. Also they have a Michigan commit in the secondary. -
Woah! Wasn’t expecting this score.

All these kids are studs. Tremendous players and there are many more not listed here. I’ll go ahead and say tho, if you haven’t watched Hensley play in person. You are missing out! I don’t see how 1 player could do more for his TEAM! Against great competition.
