I think they play us at RASH STADIUM.

This makes a lot of sense. I can go with this especially getting rid of DC or Henderson. We have to play our district games which is 5 I believe. Owensboro Catholic makes 6. DC or Henderson will make 7 (we have to choose 1), Ballard makes 8 and Manual makes 9. Maybe add South Warren, Highlands, Boyle Co or Douglass would make 10.

This is going to be bad for Owensboro Catholic RPI. Sucks for everyone involved especially the Fort Knox and Fort Campbell kids.

I was upset in 2020 when we cancelled the Henderson game and played Breck Co instead. Henderson Co is a huge rivalry game and one of the oldest in the state.

I think we are peaking at the right time. Need to really keep our focus against Muhlenberg Co. too. I really like what we are doing and our game against Madisonville is going to be a great match-up. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens to Apollo and Madisonville next week. If Apollo can get the upset they can lock in #2 seed if we beat Madisonville.

I agree with this. If you look at our score vs. Graves 49-14 and Our Score vs. Apollo 42-14. We kept our Varsity in the whole game against Apollo and took our Varsity out in the 3rd quarter against Graves.

I feel like this is a good even match-up. If the Apollo Eagles want to win their D has to step up. Apollo can win this game they just got to do it. With that said, Graves offense is not very good. I'm not sure if that's because our Defense was good or they are not very explosive on offense. If I'm Apollo I'm loading the box and stopping the run.

They just have one more non district game against Etown who is 3-A.

YIKES!!! That sounds exactly what I was talking about at the County schools near Owensboro. Ohio, Muhlenberg, Hancock, McLean are all going to the Sweet 16 basketball tournament. LOL!

Sub, I think Murray moving up gives them a better chance to play for a title. They may not make it to Kroger but playing on Thanksgiving is a huge possibility for them. If they stayed in 2-A I think Mayfield still beats them. Then they would have to travel to Owensboro Catholic, where I think you guys would of beaten them again.

I am in 100% agreeance with you. The issue is not this, but it's a longtime silent rule that you hear from admin from other surrounding counties in the Owensboro area. A high school coach a few years back told me that administrators would always say "Coach Make sure you play em all"........ then silently add except football. It happens in our area ALOT. This is a reason we do not live in Ohio Co anymore and my kids go to Owensboro. It's a FOOTBALL school.

Only disagree with this because watching teams in our 3rd region area like Muhlenberg, Ohio Co. and even some Owensboro schools kids are being told not to play football at these schools because they think basketball is where it's at. We still have this in the Owensboro/3rd Region Area. So I wouldn't say "they should field a good team" especially if administration and coaches are promoting not to play football. If this is the case and we still live in the "Kentucky is a basketball state", while only maybe 1-2 kids from Kentucky play basketball at UL or UK. Kentucky is actually ranked 29th in basketball recruiting. Far from the basketball state it use to be.
