Their quarterbacks typically remind me of a magician, that’s why I say that you have to really pay attention to what the quarterback is doing. I did not say anything against any other players. I have not seen Scott County this year, so I can’t comment on any other players.

The key for Cooper to win will be determined by how well the linebacker’s read the Scott County Qb. I think Cooper will score enough points to win but I think defense is the deciding factor.

That’s great that he got to be the holder for extra points in all four quarters Friday night but that doesn’t give him game reps at Qb. I agree he is going to be a great Qb at Highlands but he still needs live game reps against a defense. The comment you made about the two freshmen holding down the JV just proves my point. They’re playing in two football games a week against live action.Just my opinion

When you run horizontal from the 1 yard line it is a recipe for a safety! I will take a couple of runs to give the punter a little room in case you have to punt. See it happen every Saturday and Sunday!

I would put Highlands 04 and 09 teams against any team from this year. Both teams finished National ranked. The 04 team had one loss against Elder. The 09 was undefeated and had a marquee win against Cincinnati St X. The Cincy X beat both Trinity and Louisville St X handily that season.
