How important is this game to win for Highlands with this being a potential rematch in the playoffs? Does Highland show their total offense or do they save something for a later date ?

I just know they were mad dogs on Friday night! I felt like they intimidated the Birds early in the game.

I think this game is going to come down to special teams and turnovers. Against a mediocre team you can get by with a few turnovers, but against a quality team you have to play near perfect.

I think the Birds need to play 3 different Qb’s in the first series on offense to try and confuse the Blue Boys!

This is based on the end of the game against Ryle who will be the starting quarterback? Rio has his moments where he looks unbeatable and at times looks like he’s never played the position. If there is a quarterback change Rio needs to be on the field in some capacity. I think he would be a good slot receiver.

Unsportsmanlike conduct penalties will cost the birds a game or two! Hopefully, it’s not in the playoffs

Highlands would’ve went as far as they did with any of the three qb’s have this year! Sometimes change is hard to make with players who play a position one year and is asked to play a different one the next. Dale was a master of doing this of getting players to make changes for the betterment of the team.

This what happens when you isolate your db on single coverage and your safety is 8-10 yards from the line of scrimmage! Alexander is bigger and faster than both of those guys. Cooper made changes at half and Highlands got by with it in the first half. Highlands self destruction didn’t help but they were out coached in the second half. I think the Bird’s win if they don’t turn the ball over and they don’t have any unsportsmanlike penalties! Rio is playing like seasoned veteran these last few weeks.
