Final per the update thread and Highlands school broadcast.

Apparently I missed an ugly 1st half. Slow service at dinner, should have eaten at Tickle Pickle next time.

Birds came out on all cylinders in the 3rd quarter.. Dominating in all facets.

Bryce Armstrong sees his first action under center for the last 3 offensive series.  A little rusty on the 1st series but then shows us what we have to look forward to in his last 2 series, dropping a dime to Simon for a TD and then running around right tackle for a TD on 3rd series.

I’ll go watch the 1st half to see what I missed.

Unsportsmanlike conduct penalties will cost the birds a game or two! Hopefully, it’s not in the playoffs

There weren’t any unsportsmanlike penalties. The personal fouls were questionable at best and with new officials doing a lower end game, it happens. One veteran official was visibly scolding a new official for multiple penalties thrown. The new official simply didn’t know the rules. We will see this a lot moving forward with the ref shortage. There were many no calls versus the losing team on holds and players were told they won’t call it in a blowout. Just not right.

Couldn’t disagree more with this take. Unsportsmanlike for taunting was called. The lack of mental focus will cost the Birds in the long run.
