I don't trust the Tiger quarterback after the X-FD scrimmage. He is a step slow against upper echelon defenses. If O gameplans offensively away from Tutt, OR if the RT/RG can attack him, I think they will drive down the field. X's 2nd level is very vulnerable if you get the ball past the front 7. I think Devils win by two scores, 21-7.

For those wondering, Dakari Talbert played only about 4 snaps due to dehydration. 3 of those he got the carry, and ran for 30+ or more yards.

Both varsity offenses are works in progress. Douglass definitely has more questions than answers on offense. They are pretty specific though.

Douglass defense doing good, even though the blocked punt put them in bad field position. Main problem is X defense is getting to the QB. I don't blame Broncos oline, Guzman has got to get the ball out of there. He isn't making decisions quick enough at all.

Definitely a 3 quarter scrimmage. Jv 4th quarter.

This was a shared practice scrimmage, like maybe 12 plays varsity, then 12 jv then 12 frosh snaps, rinse and repeat. If the offense gets 10 yards, blow the whistle and start next play with the ball at same position every play. Interception, fumble recovery, whistle blown and no advancing of the ball. Punting, redzone situations... Really just a practice with another team.

2 safeties were out 1 starter. 2 OL were out, 1 starter. Starting wideout was out. 1st and 2nd defensive unit looked good. South looked very young. They usually have a handful of guys that could play for Douglass, I didn't see that yesterday.

Scrimmage has been moved to 6:30pm this THURSDAY.
