It’s high school basketball and should be stuck to playing on high school length court. Regional tournaments should be in packed high schools gyms not half empty college gyms, save the college floor for state tournament only.

The Pioneers had a huge win over Collins the other night and have won 5 of their last 6 games. Is this the year that the Pioneers make a return to Rupp Arena? I think they have the pieces to do so and personally think that Jeremy Davis is the best shooter from beyond the arc in the KHSAA this season.

Is he going to be head coach at Bosse or assistant coach? Coach Ganaway did a more than admirable job getting kids to come out as well as win some games, more than the Eagles have been accustomed to.

I think this is clearly a two team race. One of McCracken or Marshall may get knocked off and upset by someone, but I believe that either the Mustangs or Marshalls will certainly represent region one in Lexington.

1991 would be 28 years not 18 years. How many regional final appearances do they have? Coach Nickell was hand selected and assistant for J.C. so as long as he is involved in the school system they aren't going to get rid of Matt in my honest opinion.

I am not sure the turnaround time. He is in the class of 21, shouldn’t be any hang ups on him receiving eligibility.

I assume this gives GRC the advantage for the one seed. I would not want to be the 2 seed who has to play Montgomery County first in district play.

Elizabethtown played without one of the Sherard twins who is a starter and John Hardin has a 6’4 transfer who is from Hardin County but moved away in 7th grade that has now returned named Anthony Bowen. When Bowen becomes eligible he will add another division one player to their lineup. These two teams will meet three more times this season.

I say they play three more.

John Petett was head coach at Monroe County for 11-12 years, stepped down as former Monroe County Falcon and Kentucky Wildcat Billy Joe Murphy took over. Petett was Murphy assistant coach. Murphy has now stepped down and Petett is taking back over the reigns as the head coach of the Falcons.

Assume not, his name wasn’t in the box score. He had nine in their previous loss to Roman Catholic out of Philadelphia, maybe nursing an injury from their previous game, that is pure speculation based on him only scoring nine and then not playing today.

Kevin Klein team will be a tough out in March.

In the third and final game at the City of Palms today the Marshalls picked up their first win of the tournament 55-50 over Sarasota Riverview. The Marshalls were led in scoring by Tyler Powell with 20 points. Fellow senior Tyler Stokes had 18 while junior Jay Nimmo added 13.

Ballard is playing amazing right now, worthy of top spot especially if close off the KOB tonight. Can’t wait to watch tonight’s 3rd place game and championship game. A team outside of top 20 who needs to get some serious consideration is Elizabethtown.

I dis-agree, the draw is great, hopefully they never go away from the draw for the regional tournament or the state tournament. If I had to pick one would rather see the RPI effect the regional tournament rather than the state.

Believe it is Andrew McCloud and Andrew is from Mercer County I believe.

Brandon is married, am not sure where his wife is from but I would say that has a lot to do with his decision to stay or go.
