  1. Dubois will now officially be a playing member in KHSAA events next season and will join the 26th district. Presently the 26th district features two seventh region powers St. Xavier and Male along with Louisville Collegiate and Brown on the boys side. The 26th has featured St. Xavier and Male since 2012 and 100% of the time it has been those two qualify for the 7th regional tournament. In 2024-2025 I am not sure that will change but before long Dubois will upset one of them and make the regional tournament. Dubois went 17-12 last season featuring zero seniors and two juniors. The top two players for the Lions were freshman in Ja'Rye Brown and Ferlandas Wright.
  2. I get my Code's confused, is Scott or Mike the former coach at Bissop Brossart?
  3. That is an interesting question, I would assume no considering they have 15 selected and not 10 or 12 players. If they were to replace who would they go with, Jonah Butler, Trevor Ellis & Lawson Rice are three of the top names that could be viable options to be promoted. I have also heard that two players are unable to participate, Malachi Moreno of Great Crossing is unable to play due to Adidas / USA and Isaiah Cochran of Adair County is unable to play due to an injury.
  4. According to Holseys Twitter account, he is the new head coach at KCD.
  5. Former U of L assistant and Pace High School in Miami head coach, Mark Lieberman takes over at Holy Cross. In 13 years at Pace, he won four state championships and compiled a 335-95 overall record. Lieberman coached the U of L TBT team last summer.
  6. Derek Ferch comes to Desales after spending one season at Collegiate.
  7. Derek Ferch leaves Collegiate after one season to take over at Desales.
  8. Andrew Case moves over a seat and will be the head coach of the Thoroughbreds.
  9. Snapp is an elite coach, one of the top in the state. The combination of talent and coaching will be second to none.
  10. He plays Adidas 3SSB with Taylen Kinney and his step dad, that is the heavy rumor.
  11. How many other players in their district have division one offers? I would venture to say zero, there you have the disappointment.
  12. Curtis takes over the colonels from Murray where he was for seven years. If the consolidation happens between Hopkinsville and Christian like once was planned, this could be the head coach.
  13. Dior Curtis has stepped down after seven years as head coach to take the job at Christian County.

  15. I am assuming they are talking about the other two from Wayne County in this thread. Under the assumption that it is who is being referenced, Kendall Phillips and Seth Farmer are the names. If the poster is referring to other student athletes, I am interested to hear.
  16. Pulaski County would be a state championship contender in 2026 if they land those two transfers. Forty years after their previous state title.
