They did not make region with Brett Decker Coach Johnson first season. They did make region his second year losing to Adair County in the first round. Last season they did not make region, were upset by Elizabethtown.

Outten takes over as head coach of the Rockets after serving as assistant coach for one season. Outten has had additional stops as an assistant coach at Oldham County and Seneca.

McAatee has been the JV Coach at a very successful Moore program the last two seasons. He believes in discipline develops greatness together.

Rabbit will get this position this time.

Maze Stallworth

Brockman moves within the district from Metcalfe to Cumberland County. This is the 40th open job to be filled within the state with 15 openings remaining.

I personally don't see the issue with his track record. Coach Stallworth is a John Hardin alum, so he isn't tied to any of these schools. Casey County, he went to the regional championship game and left for a better job in Taylor County were they were coming off back to back regional titles, he would take the job and win region in his first season, making three straight for the Cardinals. Casey County is a stepping stone job, he accomplished more there than they had since the 1990's, why should he be required to stay there? Taylor County, he was dismissed as coach before the start of his third season, wasn't his choice to leave. He was assistant at Bardstown during this gap year. Marion County, he was dismissed as coach after his fourth season, wasn't his choice to leave. Washington County he was assistant with the opportunity to return as head coach at Thomas Nelson which he did for two years and led them to a regional tournament appearance. He now wants to coach girls because he has daughters upcoming and going back to a place he has had success.

After being the head coach at Greenwood girls, Williams now will lead the Todd Central Boys.

The current Georgetown College assistant coach, interviewed at Owensboro Senior but didn't get the position but has now landed in the third region as the Cougars head man. According to the multiple social media posts from Next Up Recruit referencing college coaches comment, this is an absolute monster of a hire for the town of Calhoun, Kentucky.

With Derek Tingle accepting the Collins position, Henry County is now open. One distinct advantage to this position is the hosting of the region annually.

Franklin is from Muhlenburg County, has been head coach at Garden City Juco in Kansas on the women’s side for the last few years.
