According to kysports.tv this morning, Maze Stallworth has stepped down as the head General. 

Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the girls sideline at one of the other schools in the region.

After many conversations and reflection, I have made the difficult decision to step down as Head Boys Basketball Coach at Thomas Nelson High School and accept another coaching position.

For the last 13 years, coaching boys basketball has been such a major part of my life. The last two years at Thomas Nelson have truly been special to me. From the players, to the parents, administration, and community, this place welcomed my family and me from day one, and we will forever be grateful for that.

This decision was not made lightly. Anyone who knows me knows the amount of time, energy, and heart I've poured into coaching throughout the years. I've always believed in giving everything I have to the players and programs I serve.

As my daughters continue getting older, I felt it was time to make a decision centered around my family and being more present for them during these important years of their lives. While this has been difficult, I know this is the right step for my family at this time.

To every player I've coached, thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. The relationships, memories, and moments we shared will always mean more to me than wins and losses ever could.

I also want to specifically thank Joe Peake. As my Athletic Director, he trusted me 100%, supported me fully, and gave me every opportunity to lead this program the right way. His belief in me and constant support meant more than he probably realizes, and I will always be grateful for that.

Thomas Nelson will always hold a special place in my heart, and no matter where life takes me, I'll always be cheering for the navy blue and white.
