I love the recycle hires with a history of moving jobs every 1 or 2 seasons! Those girls deserve better than a new coach every year. Hopefully Stallworth actually sticks around.

Isn't that kind of doubtful, how many different jobs has he had?

When I see coaches like this continue to get hired, especially at schools with unbelievable talent, it just irks me. The players deserve stability.

I personally don't see the issue with his track record.

Coach Stallworth is a John Hardin alum, so he isn't tied to any of these schools.

Casey County, he went to the regional championship game and left for a better job in Taylor County were they were coming off back to back regional titles, he would take the job and win region in his first season, making three straight for the Cardinals. Casey County is a stepping stone job, he accomplished more there than they had since the 1990's, why should he be required to stay there?

Taylor County, he was dismissed as coach before the start of his third season, wasn't his choice to leave. He was assistant at Bardstown during this gap year.

Marion County, he was dismissed as coach after his fourth season, wasn't his choice to leave.

Washington County he was assistant with the opportunity to return as head coach at Thomas Nelson which he did for two years and led them to a regional tournament appearance.

He now wants to coach girls because he has daughters upcoming and going back to a place he has had success.

Yeah, I don't see the issue with the track record either.  If he had stops of 1-2 years at lots of places and that was the pattern, I get it.  But I see two stops of 3+ years and, like you say, Taylor County dismissed him so that prevented at least three years there.

Not sure what the average tenure is for basketball coaches in the state but I don't think his tenure anywhere is egregious.

I’ll admit I do not know Coach at all.

I just know what I see here in digital ink.

With the way things are now (coaches being relieved of duties at the drop of a hat) I see NO problem with any coach moving any time they see fit.

Just like players/coaches on the College level. Don’t be a hypocrite and want one to be able to and one not to!

Hard to disagree there.

I agree coaches should be able to pursue better opportunities. It's just when you pair a coach who has done that A LOT with a program that has had coaching changes every year, it magnifies the instability issue. I just think this group of girls deserves stability. I hope Stallworth provides that and I'm wrong!
