Franklin is from Muhlenburg County, has been head coach at Garden City Juco in Kansas on the women’s side for the last few years.

    Congrats Coach Franklin. Hires like this from the college ranks are usually boom or bust. Hope for Owensboro it is a boom. 

    Congrats to Owensboro and to Coach Franklin.  He has a nice resume, with a ton of success in coaching Women's basketball at the Juco level, including a national championship.  Feels like this is another solid hire by Todd Harper and the Red Devils.
