The Saddle Club will be rocking pre and post game. Working on details, but plan on a pre game inside before heading to Edgar McNabb Field starting by 5:00. All are welcome. For the Mayfields fans traveling up, be aware Beechwood has some pretty significant construction going on. Plan on arriving early for a good spot if you plan on parking at the school. Ft Mitchell Kroger’s is plan B.

Great response to a completely idiotic statement. I mean Howelit just set the all time passing record at Scott. A “tailspin”? Wow. As a Scott Alum, I know first hand how many kids, mostly parents, elect to not send their kids there based on BS myths. Scott is a GREAT school. And if everyone gave them a chance, their roster would be overflowing with talent. Actually, it already is. Fly high ?. Always a tough battle playing #1, one play at a time.

Dixie should win. But with Chase Crone under center, anything is possible. For those keeping score, Chase accounts for roughly 33% of the points scored against Beechwood this entire season. My math may not be exact, but you get the point……..

I heard some very embarrassing fans on both sides tonight, if that is what you are referencing. It was honestly embarrassing at times. And people wonder why we can’t get enough officials the way some of these parents/families act.

Guys, two of the 2 point conversion attempts were the result of muffed snaps to the holder. JV came in and NCC had zero answers stopping the running game. And did ya ever think the BW kicker, a soccer player BTw, maybe needed a break? Just saying, lighten up Francis……. on a positive note, how about this Zander Riegler kid for BW. Kid runs downhill, and hard. Name to follow in years to come. He is dominating these running clock games against mostly 1st team defenders.

Fridays game was the biggest display of “lack of control” that rivals another 2A local team of recent years. Kids throwing punches, spitting in faces, etc. I couldn’t believe what I heard was being said and done on the field…….

FYI, SK QB Chase Crone had 21 pts Vs Beechwood. Dixie as a whole 14. SK can put up points. ?

Different perspective, same take. CovCath youth football has also grown so big, that a lot players don’t see the field. If you don’t see the field in middle school, you’re gonna look elsewhere for HS. Just a numbers game. case in point, WKU commit Beechwood RT Luke Slusher. Couldn’t get on the field in CYF. Anyways, that scenario is not the end all be all example, but add it to the multi-sport discouragement and other theories and you have floating around and you got potential problems.

I’d had to agree with the appearance of it at least. Felt like a team wanting to go into halftime cuz they get the 2nd half kickoff. I was blown away how CCH basically laid down in the latter part of the 4th, coaching wise. Would have never saw that coming. A lot can happen in 5-6 minutes if a game. Yet I cannot remember one shot downfield in 4th qtr. very odd.

Ya’ll are so blinded by the Hergott factor. And rightfully so to a degree. But give credit where credit is due. The Beechwood lines. The O-line is decimating propel. It’s not just Hergott , it’s Courtney, O’Shea, Berger, everyone be fitting. And you know why Hergot ran the ball tonight? Cuz he didn’t have to throw it. on defense, just as dominate. Go back and look at the tape. Only TD’s this season against BW are when Slusher is off field and the rotation is smaller. But it’s a great rotation. Campbell, Jackson, O’Shea, Gibbs, Vanderpool, Sheppard, and oh yeah, when someone needs a break, bring in the big fella Slusher to take the double teams and create 1 on 1s. Give credit where credit is due folks. Is Hergott a difference maker? Absolutely. But just icing on the cake to an already great team and group of kids. This dialogue is getting old and not fair for all the other studs on this team. go Tigers!!!

It’s all theoretical, but No way they win comfortably in that scenario. Who, I say who, on CovCath is a scoring threat on every play? No one. That would be the case as well for Beechwood in the scenario you propose. And in that scenario, I’ll take Beechwood’s defense anyway of the week brother. ✌️
