  1. What’s the point of the restricted area again? If that call isn’t reviewed and overturned, I’m not watching another game all season! Edit: This is clearly Game 4, please and thanks.
  2. Solid LeBron years, or solid NBA player years? The answer I really want is whether he’ll stick around once he’s no longer the best player on the court every night.
  3. I’d love to see this for the sheer chaos of it all. Agreed. Knee-jerk reaction is to laugh at this. Any* franchise would take him in a heartbeat. Mike Brown on line one... Bron v Kyrie; Sixers v Celtics. I can dig it, but does *Philly HAVE to have him? Or *Boston for that matter? I think Houston, other than GS, is the best situation for him.
  4. Where is LeBron going? He won’t be in Cleveland. The deadline trades ensured that. So where? MJ never won a WCF... There are a few MJ never... scenarios which LeBron has also never..., but could, depending on this offseason. If you don’t know where he’s going, which of those scenarios would you like to see him take a stab at?
  5. Steph is the only guy in the league who can foul a player, but it goes uncalled, naturally, and end up shooting FTs.
  6. You want a playoff team, or one that competes with the best team of the millennium for championships?
  7. The novelty of JR has worn off for this Cavs fan. It’s frustrating because he can be the difference in the game in a positive way, but we rarely get to see that. He’ll either be laser focused for the rest of the series, or he finally totally disengages and punches Dray in the teeth. I’m cool with either. Clarkson looks like he didn’t expect to be required to play basketball after the trade. Shame too, because he has a lot of game. Get rid of official reviews. Calls shouldn’t be corrected in-game. Wait til the two minute report and give the ref a bad grade for missing the call, but that one went to review over whether or not he was outside the restricted area. I don’t care for JVG, but he nailed it. Be able to review every call or leave them alone. LeBron. Just, wow!
  8. They were, in most cases, built to be bad. Anyway, if we’re taking LeBron out of Cleveland, can I assume we’re taking the best player from each team? If that’s the case, I think Cleveland is probably ranked between five and ten. I’m a Cavs fan though.
  9. Eight straight. I don’t care where you rank the guy, LeBron is a treat to watch. Al Horford is talking to his agent about moving west. I’ll never count out LeBron, but Cleveland has to be better to beat either team from the West.
  10. Golden State and Cleveland are my picks for the Finals until LeBron jumps onto the scorer’s table again like he just won #4. Houston and Philly should be semi finalists, but CLE/PHI should be a good one. Utah would be here if not for the Rubio injury and their matchup, but if a bullfrog had wings... So Toronto and NO(because superstars are important) leapfrog them, and the young Celtics will get some meaningful minutes, but are ultimately not much of a factor without Kyrie. I guess mine is based on the likelihood of advancing, rather than a roster breakdown.
  11. Makelle looked pretty good last night in the win to clench a playoff berth. 10 on 5-13, 8, 4 in 14 minutes off the bench. No FT or 3 attempts but a couple pull-up jumpers had the internet buzzing briefly.
  12. Season 3 kicked off Sunday and I finally got around to it last night. I learned I had been pronouncing duodenum incorrect. Also, I dig Wendy Rhoades on a lot of levels.
  13. I’d like to see Bagley and Carter playing for a title. Or a UNC and Villanova rematch. Loyola is a neat story I guess. Michigan drew up the Blueprint for Cal’s success, so they’re in there. (Let’s just hope Cal didn’t follow it step-by-step.) Jacob Pullen inspired James Harden’s beard, so K-State isn’t terrible; I mean, wouldn’t you rather lose to the team that wins it all? Anybody but West Virginia really.
  14. I think Knox, SGA, and Vanderbilt are gone and will be good pros. I think Diallo is gone and will have some good years as a pro. I think PJ suffers from Chuck Hayes syndrome, but I think he goes and I’m pulling for him. Beyond that... Maybe Gabriel, and some coach will be pleased to run him out on the second unit. Richards might test the waters and be back. Quade wouldn’t surprise me either way. I think a lot of these guys believe having UK on the resumé and Cal listed as a reference is the fast lane to the first round. Speaking of Cal...
  15. My days are all starting to run together. Does this make three straight Sundays he’s been in the hunt?
  16. Lead feels bigger than 7. Expecting CCH to stretch it out in the 3rd.
  17. They did end up in the same region as the best 16-seed in tournament history...
  18. All those CCH supporters didn’t make their billions by wasting gas on quarterfinal games. Edit: Misremembered which thread I was in. Point stands.
  19. Doubt the NCAA wanted to hear the word investigation on a conference championship game.
  20. Looks like Richard Sherman will be a FA next season. I know it’s not Mike’s MO, but is there any chance he’s in the Orange and Black when it’s done?
