When compared to other jobs that are currently open? Hopkins County/Hopkins Co Central Comparable type community (county ONLY district, though, No Independent district..while also lacking the greatest body of water on earth ?) Rank 1, Year 20? Practically a dead heat ($63, 745)....for what PC school's pay Year 27 that is ($63, 867). But through the next 7-8? And those last 3-5 ideally being the one's you want to try and "cash in" on (27 years in is based off your average 'High 5', 30 years = average 'high 3'? ...and, that's just neighboring counties. When you expand, let's say, an hour and a half north, west & points in between? It's even worse, even when compared to some much smaller "county" districts. Compare it to communities like Somerset/Pulaski County with the population base? Lake view properties (while obviously not being able to directly access it from your back yard, err, cliff)? It's even worse. Head scratching bad to be quite honest.

The trend in young(er) administrators is due to the fact that the Educational Leadership Program (aka “Principalship”) used to be a Rank 1 program (2nd Master’s), whereas the last 20 years or so it became a Master’s program. Thus, making them younger. I'm also going to say something that, while not popular & obviously isn’t a blanket statement, either: You see somebody that gets into an administrator type position with in/around 10 years (often times less these days)? …news for everybody, but they couldn’t get out of the classroom fast enough. Most of them, if they coached any at all, did so long enough to help earn tenure. Then as soon as they got that? Along with their Master’s in Ed. Leadership? The race to get out of the classroom completely begins, with the end game being in a Central Office position (aka, very little, to NO direct supervision/leadership/contact with students whatsoever).

I personally think the multiplier talk is a smoke screen in attempts to handle a much larger situation. ….and, I’ll just leave it at that.

I personally think the best way about it, as we've talked before, is to just completely do away with districts altogether + going back to the purely, hypothetical scenarios/changes I posted in November? 1- Two Classes, 6 Divisions Class A= Class A, AA, AAA Class AA= Class 4A, 5A, 6A Within those classes? Three divisions. Class A Div I, Class A Div II, Class A Div III + Class AA D1, Class AA D2, Class 2A D3 Take the Top 16 (HSRatings, Updated RPI, @Tigerpride94, etc) in each of "Class A, Class AA, Class AAA", so 48 Total. Top 16? Class A D1. Middle 16? Class A D2. Bottom 16? Class A D3 Same for Class AA D1, D2, D3 2- Full on Open Division. D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6 Top 96 per rankings above. Top 16= D1, 17-32= D2, so on and so forth. I don't know what it could hurt. Either. But Option 1, I think, would be the easier sell. It'd be a shot in the arm I think, in many ways, because as soon as these new realignments come out? It sure as heck isn't rocket science to figure out which 1-6 per class are going to have a say in things.

Not necessarily....could make the muliplier over a four year period, so those would take an effect every other realignment. Just a mere thought. I don't know how they'd do it, justify it? I've never heard one (that made sense) in almost 20 years of 6 classes how they've justified 32 for ONLY both ends of the 6 class system. ?

Nick Saban, Cig, and any other coaches that come to mind could come into many of these places (with what they have, who they are competing against, etc) and .500, on average, would be nothing short of miraculous. It's so much deeper than "getting better", and that's a two way street. To those that oppose a multiplier, many in favor could say the same thing. "Just get better...step it up a bit." I'm not a fan of a multiplier/success factor because it wouldn't apply to 6A. Just like things are now with how the class system is...many things I'm not a fan of, but Class A and 6A always only having 32 teams, while the others 38-40? Makes no sense.

You’re not in favor of the S.O.S format in those regards? Why not? What I wish they’d do away with is the “class” factor: Ex: Beating an average, AT BEST, team(s) in a higher class than you- WEIGHING MORE THAN- beating somebody legit who is in a lower class(es). The SOS weight opponents record + your opponent’s, opponent’s has to stay IMO. It’s one true way of telling “the rest of the story.”

Great family. Great kid, as are his brothers. They originally moved to Campbellsville from LaRue County to begin with going into the '21 season. The oldest brother, Landon, had a very good career (LB/RB) in his own right. Starting all three years at Campbellsville after also starting at LaRue County as a freshman on the '20 team. A full blown, legitimate work situation for both parents led to the move to Campbellsville.
