Coach Furnish has a good group coming up and should continue improving. Haven't seen them this season at HS level

And a lot of the Mason Co. faithful are calling for Biggs to not return next season.

I predict Jason Hinson will win the 39th District Tournament this week. He would be cutting down the 39th District tournament nets as the head coach at two different schools. Has this been done before?

My expert opinion for what it's worth. Austin Crawford is an exceptional high school player. How many guards eclipse 3000 points and 1000 rebounds in a high school career? Very few! Austin could make a D1 roster, but not sure he'd see much playing time. If I were him I'd jump on the Pikeville offer and go to a good school, play for a great coach, and see the floor possibly as a freshman.

Did both HC coaches save their jobs with first round wins?

saw on KHSAA where in the 1st district Fulton Co. "upset" Carlisle Co. All four teams in the district were separated by a few points in the Kentucky.com ratings. Seems to be a competitive district.

I've met Coach Belcher several times and the man is very knowledgeable about the game of basketball. Man is passionate as well. You can tell just by talking to him that he loves his players and the sport.

McNutt doesn't get the credit she deserves. It's been all about the others and she jus quietly does her job and takes care of business.

This is true. I took in the Robertson Co. @ Nicholas Co. game in January. Robertson seemed to make a point to stop Morris. They held Morris to 7, but allowed Hamilton to get 25.

Scott Co. seems to be a possible destination for all transfers, so that's not at all surprising.

@vito We Called it! I hope I didn't see what I think I saw--- did Allen walk off floor without shaking hands? That's not ok and should be treated as not OK! Good example of team play outlasting individual play. Allen tried to do way too much this evening in the 4th and I believe it hurt his team. Congrats to the Breds!

Free and Gilkey have big games for the Breds. Allen gets his, but his supporting role disappears in the regional tournament. Just a prediction

After reading this thread I was also notified through text that Emma Conley is helping out with the Robertson Co. Lady Devils softball program. Emma vs Sara would be an interesting matchup.

I believe I've seen on Twitter that the Royal Legends are competing with 8/9 grade teams this AAU season

Congrats to Sara! Didn't know she took the reigns to the program. Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have the talent to coach that surrounded her as a player on the diamond.
