Did both HC coaches save their jobs with first round wins?

I don't know, not close enough to administration to know that answer. But IMHO I think if they both are fortunate to win District Championships it would be very hard to do this year. Just my opinion.

Also might add that Coach Furnish has had her best season to date without a doubt and with the youngest team she's ever had.

 

This team has won 5 of last 6. And 6 of their last 9. She has her young team playing very well at the right time IMHO.

Coach Furnish has a good group coming up and should continue improving.

Absolutely agree! And Coach Furnish also have several bench players that play limited minutes this year. With development of these bench players the Fillies could be a fun team to watch over next several years. And even a serious 10th Region contender down the road.
