Dominant? How many regional tournaments he won? Did he even win the district last year? Did he go to the region last year? I'm a huge Larry Charles fan, but respectable is the appropriate term here

The opinion on blind draw/seeding is school specific. Blind draw gives the smaller schools a better chance to experience playing in the regional tournament. For example: 39th District - Mason Co. wants to seed now (a few years ago they voted to draw because they didn't care who they played - HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN?) Augusta/St. Pat's best chance to go to the region is to draw each other on a normal annual basis. Augusta's had good teams in the past few years, but if you look at it from a long term basis, their best chance is to draw.

I believe you're exactly right. I've heard from people that have been in similar situations that the commissioner normally goes with the majority because he doesn't want to upset those schools. Don't know any validity to that, but just what someone who has experience with similar situations said.

I'm actually for the blind draw, but if every district in the state is going to seed it's going to have to be because the commissioner made them do so. Otherwise, this isn't going to ever happen.

I agree Jozey with what you're saying, but what if the team has the best chance of winning with that player scoring a lot. For example, Allen from PC comes to mind. He scores 30+ a game and when he doesn't PC struggles to win. Should we not consider him?

Great win by the Lady Stangs! I think they've had a pretty solid year. I thought when Coach Feldman left that they would have an adjustment period, but they seem to be hitting their stride at the right time. Good Luck to the Lady Stangs! Not sure they have enough for Scott or Campbell Co., but they make be able to make them both sweat!

I saw Devin play a couple years ago, haven't seen her this season. She would definitely be a steal for a lot of college programs. Can't believe Thomas More isn't all over her.

No they got rid of her. But they never gave her credit. Gave it to the guy that runs their feeder program saying he was the reason. Where's he at now? Truth is these girls peaked early kind of like the Cline Chambers Litzinger group. Now some teams have caught up and passed them and other teams have had several moved in that put them above MC

After talking to my friend, he stated that coaches nominated there own players, but can't vote for there own.

I've watched Madison Kalb for a few years and when I watched this year at Harrison Co. she definitely deserved all Region consideration

My buddy is an asst coach at GRC and he said that BC was the only team that didn't submit any nominees. Could be an oversight!

Scott girls will defeat the Lady Bears and Bracken and GRC will go down to the wire with BC pulling it out at home in the Polar Bear Palace

Congrats to all these young ladies! All are deserving! Surprised I didn't see Ruf or Kalb from Bracken Co. on any of these lists. Really think Behanen of GRC is deserving of a spot in top 15 but not sure who id knock off to replace. ALL NAMES MENTIONED HAVE WORKED HARD AND DESERVE THEIR SPOT ON THE 10th REGION ALL REGION TEAM! Congrats Ladies!

Those type of undisciplined plays is what could keep Paris from "doubling up"
