The season is now here. What should we expect this year?

This year I'll be following Bracken County's softball team to see how they do under new coach Sara Sticklen. Was undoubtedly the best player in Bracken County softball history and I think will do a great job with this young bunch.

All starts with pitching (and Sara was a good one) do they have that?

Congrats to Sara! Didn't know she took the reigns to the program.

 

 

Unfortunately for her, she doesn't have the talent to coach that surrounded her as a player on the diamond.

After reading this thread I was also notified through text that Emma Conley is helping out with the Robertson Co. Lady Devils softball program. Emma vs Sara would be an interesting matchup.

Last year, I got to meet Jessica(Bracken's coach) when coaching with Chip at Calvary and both games were exciting. Jessica had played for Chip at some point as a catcher. She definitely had been influenced by Chip with her coaching style, and was one of the most competitive coachs we faced. I'll be curious to see how the match up plays out this year with new coaches for both teams at the reigns.

Only one senior this year so there's a lot of room for improvement. Had around 20+ kids at practices without basketball kids. Hopefully Sara can help build this program back up to one of the premier programs in the 10th!

 

And yes MeanGene I'm looking forward to that match-up as well
