Below is what I have gathered. Can somebody help me to understand how this man is being released? -Broke into a family's home and stabbed multiple people including a 6 year old child who later died from injuries. -Tried and found not guilty by reason of insanity. -Convicted of lesser charge and sentenced to 20 years. -Released 13 years early and placed on just eight months of supervised probation. -According to parole board, he qualifies as "non-violent".

I think that in 02/03, Grant Groneck was QB. In 03/04 I believe Grant Groneck started at QB, but Kyle Callahan took over midway through the year. Drew Ellison took over in 04/05, and I think the only game Callahan threw a TD was at Beechwood on a bubble screen pass to Jordan Pauly (I think my memory is right on this). I am nearly certain that it never happened with Kyle or Drew.

Hockey's all-star festivities this past year were pretty incredible with the 4 nations tourney. I'm not a hockey or baseball guy, but I was glued to the 4 nations.

After talking with a buddy who is pretty close to Coach Eck, I'd be pretty surprised if he wanted job (not saying that in a negative way, I just don't know that the interest is there where it once was). I believe he is helping out currently on Ryle's staff along with his son Ryan. As a father with a kid just getting into baseball, I can't imagine there are many things cooler for a dad than getting to coach your kid, and the get to coach with your kid. Thanks CWB! You have a very comprehensive list, which obviously took a lot of research. One cardinal that I would add is Cardinal William Eijk from the Netherlands. IMHO, I think he has the 2nd best chance among the conservative cardinals. I think Cardinal Erdo probably has the best chance of the conservative cardinals due to the relationships he has in Europe as well as the relationships he has built in Africa. Cardinal Eijk has a pretty cool story. He completed initial medical studies in 1978 at the University of Amsterdam and immediately entered the major seminary while focusing on medical ethics at the University of Leiden and working as a physician of internal medicine. In 1985, he was ordained a priest and, while serving as a chaplain, obtained a doctorate in medicine, with a thesis that responded to Dutch euthanasia practices. I love that he is a medical Doctor who is able to use science and reason when discussing the faith.

Mackenzie Mgbako is in Lexington right now, and rumors are he could commit today. I would be VERY excited about this get as a UK fan.

A player I'm keeping an eye on (doubt he will go to Kentucky though) is Mackenzie Mgbako. Very highly ranked recruit out of high school who just didn't live up to the hype at Indiana. I am interested to see if a change of scenery is all he needs to be the prospect people thought he would be out of high school.
