Chris is an outstanding basketball coach. He was one of the best coaches in Cincinnati years ago. He was the victim of some dirty political moves at one of the high schools several years back, but Chris took the high road and never said a negative thing about the school. Beechwood is fortunate to have him as their coach. If the players are willing to listen, Chris will make them a contender in the 9th Region.

Very good hire for Brossart! Bundy deserves the chance to be a head coach. Congratulations to Bundy, a really good guy. Some of the Campbell County HS crowd will spew their expected venom, but Bundy is a great choice!

Wrong again, like you told us all basketball season Newport was really good. I found out because I know a lot of people on the Kenton County SB. Being a Holmes graduate helps as well in this case.

Everyone I talked to says Skinner is great. He is demanding but fair, honest and unafraid of telling a mom or pop to let him do the coaching while they root in the stands. Sounds like a good coach to me. From your tone, sounds like you are one of the "power parents" who want to control the coach. That doesn't work with Skinner, and it should not work with any coach at any level.

How could anyone possibly be "missing" on these teams? Everyone who participated within 100 miles of N.Ky. was name to this all-star squad. Talk about making everyone feel good about themselves. This is an example of giving participation medals if ever there was one. You had to be a JV player not to get mentioned on these all-star teams there are so many on it.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we finally have a new coach at Scott HS! Drum roll, please...and the winner is....

I heard he is a very good coach and communicates the game in a positive way to the players. I have watched him on TV and listened to him when he had radio shows in the past, and I think he is very knowledgeable about basketball. It would make sense Beechwood would hire him as a coach. After watching Tricia Macke lead Holy Cross to a great season, maybe hiring media types will become the fashion in the 9th Region. Here's hoping Skinner gets the Beechwood job.

The last sighting of Wiggins came in February. He and Chevington were thinking of transferring to Scott, but they do not enjoy being around teammates who tape record their head coaches in the locker room. Wiggins and Chevington have narrowed down their transfer choices to Covington Latin and Calvary Christian.

I heard Skinner is going to be at Beechwood in some capacity, either boys or girls basketball. It makes sense he would get a chance at taking this position. Besides, he can scoop the entire tri-state media by announcing his own hire on Local 12 News. lol!

No chance of that happening at all. Better shot of Wiggins being named starting power forward at Newport next year.

Richard Skinner? Anyone else hear this? He applied at Dixie earlier. Knows the game and is very good with parents and the players.
