Nick Parker:
Height: 5'9
Bench: 215
40 yard: 4.4
Bryce Donnelly:
Height: 6'2
Bench: 145
40 yard: 4.7
Take that as it's given. Parker at a big disadvantage in height but makes up for it in speed and strength.
This Parker/Donnelly matchup looks to be headline of this game. But, who does Brossart go to if Parker were to shut down Donnelly? Bracken County has a core 4 of backs. The teams leader Tad Fisher was contained against Paris, however they couldn't contain Appleman/Parker. I guess my question is who is Bishop Brossart's 2nd option?
I think Paris is 10x quicker than Brossart's. Paris has the best athletes and and the same if not better QB than Brossart's. The Nick Parker/Bryce Donnelly match-up will be a good one that you can't base off team track times because they're not handing the baton to anyone.
Chase Keller, the QB, leads Bishop Brossart in RUSHING. He is a good QB when he's not pressured. Will be interesting to see what happens with Bracken's big D-line
I think the biggest win was over #9 ranked Harlan this year. First time ever beating a ranked opponent. But I think this game against Paris takes it. And if they beat Brossart that will be the biggest win.
Usually you can look at them at 2 on Thursday. Just wondering why it took til 10 on Friday morning. I think I can remember them coming out on Wednesday one week.
The seed/draw debate will be brought up next week at the volleyball district draw. Will anything change? Augusta volleyball has a record of 1-15 and scheduled St Pat 5 times. It looks like they replaced the missing Bracken games with each other.
Bracken's athletes have changed a lot from last year. And their run game is far better than Holmes (#2 in rushing last week behind Belfry). They have the Four Horseman stable in the backfield.(Fisher, Parker, Appleman, Teegarden)
6A- Simon Kenton, Ryle, Trinity, Muhlenberg County
5A- South Oldham, Bowling Green
4A- Johnson Central, Franklin-Simpson
3A- Casey County, Bardstown, Adair County
2A- Allen Central, Lexington Christian, Mayfield
1A- Paintsville, Nicholas County, Russellville
Just looked at Bracken County's schedule on riherds. Looks like St Pat will be play @ Bracken County. However the Polar Bears won't go to downtown Maysville.
