Escorted was probably too strong of a word. He was standing by the locker room as the players went out the back door. However if the players exited through the main entrance there probably would have been some issues. Parents were arguing still -

I was more shocked at the fact Williamstowns coach was arguing with a Bracken County fan in the middle of the game. Also Bracken County had a wide open layup on the free throw line. But a ref on the other end of the court called time for a Bracken County player to tie his shoe who was on the opposite free throw line. -

I'll try to get a clearer video/picture. But from that angle the call appeared to be correct. A little blurry but correct I think. -

The delay of game would have been called on Williamstown and probably a technical foul with it. -

Here's Austin Crawford's first shot that was called off: Twitter At the end of the 2nd OT here's what happened. A Williamstown player made a 3 to make it 89-87. The clock was at 7.2 when the shot was made. The ball rolled in the floor and a Williamstown player picked it up. He then held the ball in front of a Bracken County player out of bounds. The Bracken player did not touch it. The Williamstown player then put the ball on the ground and then Bracken player picked it up as the clock hit 0. The Bracken players quickly shook hands and were hurried into the locker room. The refs deliberated. Twitter The Williamstown players stayed on the floor while the crowd chanted forfeit and Bracken fans yelled the game was over. The refs talked for about 5 minutes and it was then decided the game was over. The Polar Bears where escorted out the back door by a police officer.8 -

I heard that they are trying to organize a Bracken vs. Pendleton Alumni game for next year. That would be something -

You can also hear how electric atmosphere but it does not do it justice. This was the most fun game I've been a part of since last years District and it definitely felt like and old 38th District Championship between the Polar Bears and Wildcats. The rivalry is back! -

2017 39th District Tournament
Woodstock replied to Vito Corleone's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Currently making a 30 for 30 on the 39th District so I can become a millionaire. The hosting issue isn't that big of a deal. Each team gets 2 games every year to prepare for region. Also Augusta has had good success in the Igloo, play really good there, don't know why they would want to move. -

CovCath bans players from being on twitter all basketball season. There was a thread on here saying how is that fair. Well, it's a privilege, not a right to play basketball for a program like CovCath. And you will follow their rules like them or not. -

He's a great coach, just the discipline part has been bad. And it looks like that is about to change. -

Jerry is dang good ref who has done about the past 4 District tournaments. The T was very deserved. Took of his jacket and threw it on the bench acting like a 5 year old -

Bracken started out in man but Jake Ohmer scored 7 and then went to zone and used a variety of presses and zones. The game got down to 7 points in the 4th but could ever get out of that hole they dug early. Also, WHERE WAS THIS BRADY JONES LAST YEAR? Has gotten a lot more aggressive on his post moves and looks to score more and isn't missing as many layups.
