I agree. We will see in 2 weeks and talk of blowouts and beatings means nothing until they play. Do I think BW will lose to SK? Yes. Do I think it will be a beating like they took tonight? No. It is hard to say that one team compared to another based on a score. Perfect example. SK beats Conner in a downpour 13-6. SK beats down Dixie on a dry sunny day on turf 59-21. Dixie beats Conner on a dry sunny day on turf 28-21. Who the heck knows what will happen and how BW matches up to SK?

Ryle has been impressive as of late. Great game by the Camel's. Just came up short. CC could sneak up on someone at the end of the year.

So now we have someone being hasty on the other side of it. Sheesh. Some of us Pioneer fans are a little more humble nay realistic. Let's see how the game plays out. I guarantee you that it will never be played on BGP.

Don't be hasty. This is laughable. It may not be the beat down that CCH put on BW but BW will not beat SK.

I haven't seen CovCath but everything I hear is that they are a complete team. That said, I think BW's speed may test SK a little. SK's defense is hard hitting and nasty up front and at LB so the Beechies may have a tough time running the ball. If they can throw we will really see how the SK D matches up. SK clearly has the advantage on offense over BW's defense. Hands down. Just being realistic.

From what I see quite a few ended up at Ryle. Boone County is a bit of a cluster when it comes to youth football so kids can play almost anywhere. They used to have a draft in the BCPWFL. Not sure how that affected where kids played.

Not mad at all but I don't think you could have guessed that CovCath would be as good as they are. I don't care who you are. CovCath has had tons of talent over the last 10 years and couldn't put it together to be a power like they are this year. If you could have predicted that maybe I need to talk to you about some IPO investment advice. Lol!!

I could personally care less about rankings. I personally think SC should be ranked higher than SK but that is about the extent of my thoughts on the AP Poll. SK is a public school that plays on a more populated area so SK plays the 2 teams in their district and the 3 in their neighboring district. I have no problem with that. You can't argue with Highlands being on their schedule and Dixie is a fellow county school that they have to play. They don't play Scott because Scott went to the county and asked to be let out of the SK game requirement. That leaves 3 games. I could see ditching the Bryan Station game but Meade County was a state runner-up 3 years ago so I don't have a problem with that game. The Beechwood game is a head scratcher because Beechwood is 1A but, on the other hand, they are a perennial title contender. That leaves 2 games that I would question. I don't have a say in it but I wouldn't mind scheduling a Scott County or an Ohio school but schedules have to work too. I personnel know that SK has reached out to a few Ohio schools but the schedules don't work so we get what we get. End of thought.

CovCath has only really been decent the last 2 years and this year they are extremely good. Get off of the "Schedule CovCath thing". Scheduling CovCath 3 or 4 years ago was like scheduling a mediocre team and why would SK schedule a mediocre 5A team when they have to schedule 6A teams. Come on. Could you honestly say 3 or 4 years ago that you thought CovCath would be where they are? Who's to say they will be decent in a couple years? We really need to get over the scheduling thing.

Dixie is formerly a 6A team, 5A just this year and in the same school district. The only other non-6A teams are 5A Highlands who you can't argue with playing and 1A state championship Beechwood. 7 6A games. Maybe 6A needs to get better. How do you feel about 2A Mayfield beating 6A McCracken tonight? Come on man. Your act is old. Move on to a better topic. Attack the other weak 6A teams.

Don't over analyze. Conner will not compete with Ryle in that district. If Conner faces SK on turf the Neers blow them out. Scott is a good, stress good, 4A team. Conner is an average to below average 6A team. I hope we get to see Trosper and the Cougars at the Pioneer Country Club.

Take this a a grain of salt for NCC. They will be there in December. As much as I despise NCC they will be there.

Does PRP have X or T? Those may be fun to watch if so.

I thought this year's SK/Ryle game would be a snoozer with SK walking away easy. Now I can't wait. Hope it's a war. Cheering for the Pioneers of course.

WV is okay but HC is young. 2011 State Champs. 4 years of losing seasons. 2016 state semifinalists. Prediction... 3 years of losing seasons. State run in 2021. I hope Koz will see it through and bring it home again to Covington in 2021.

A. Some friends of mine in Lex said the the creation of FD has watered down the talent pool. Hard to believe that this could happen with FD being a first year school but I am just the messenger. I hear it will hurt Henry Clay the most but I guess we'll see. B. Lafayette just had 2 years in a row or State Runner-ups. They're not Trinity and can't put the best in the state out there year after year. I think the combo of both scenarios with Lafayette losing 2 and 3 year starters leaving them very young will be an Achilles heal for awhile. The playing field is evened a little in Lexington now.
