Final another nice win for the first year Broncos. First road win in school history!

What is the deal at Lafayette?

It would appear after their last 2 showings they were dramatically overrated.

Very good win for the Broncos.

I would like to hear from Broncos fans what changes they have made since their opener to get the win.

For one thing not playing teams near as good as Danville.

I think there is a lot more to it than that. My guess if they played Danville again, they would be at least 3-4 TD's closer to the Admirals. Danville taught them some things in that opener that they have used to get much better.

Seriously they have a lot of young kids at skill positions and are getting better each week be interesting to see how they fair at home next week v. Madison Cent.

A. Some friends of mine in Lex said the the creation of FD has watered down the talent pool. Hard to believe that this could happen with FD being a first year school but I am just the messenger. I hear it will hurt Henry Clay the most but I guess we'll see. B. Lafayette just had 2 years in a row or State Runner-ups. They're not Trinity and can't put the best in the state out there year after year. I think the combo of both scenarios with Lafayette losing 2 and 3 year starters leaving them very young will be an Achilles heal for awhile. The playing field is evened a little in Lexington now.

Wasn't FD predicted second in the district behind Scott Co. in some preseason discussions?
