For those bashing Borchers on here this week, the Jags are getting better. They are not back, but they are better than the team that I watched on film for the first three games. Camels with a nice pass-run mix to pull away in the 2nd Qtr. Jags with some nice plays in 4th, too little too late.

It was 40 to 13 end of the 3rd.

No one should be bashing Coach Borchers. Aside from Cooper's first 3 years this is the youngest and most inexperienced team in Cooper's existence. This team has a ton of first year varsity players and only 12 seniors I believe most of which have not played significant varsity minutes. The cycle has hit them and they'll be fine over the next couple of seasons.

The cycle has hit them and they'll be fine over the next couple of seasons.

 

Cooper has some nice talent and they'll be just fine when these guys mature in a year or two. The Jags came out ready to play and gave the Camels cause for concern early on. They just wore down. The sky is not falling at Horsebranch Rd. Jeremiah Lee is an impressive talent. He'll be a force in 2 years and will be Hendrix-like. I just hope he can stay healthy this year due to his size. The kid is only a freshman. Credit to the Camels D-Coordinator Meadows for making the necessary adjustments to right the ship early after Cooper moved the ball rather easily. Dowds is the engine for this Camels team. He is so fun to watch. The matchup next week at Ryle will be a must see, with Chisholm and Dowds atop the 6A rushing leaders.

Only people who don't truly understand high school football and coaching are bashing the staff. This team isn't as good as the Tyler Morris class but they do remind me of them a lot in the fact that there is talent... it's just talent that hasn't seen a varsity field.

 

Coach Borchers and his staff will get this team going and they will develop nicely as the year goes along.. but you already know that! Glad to see the Jags getting better every week!

I seen a lot of positive signs for the young Jags last night. Stay positive and keep improving every week.

I agree, Jags Offense played much better & 3 of 4 TD's came from underclassmen. D line & middle linebacker position is still very questionable for Jags. Hope these AMAZING COACHES find an answer.
