So far the infield has been consistent with Ponder, Trattles, Martin, and Baker with Faehr behind the plate. Taylor, Cooper, and Gangwish in the outfield. As we all know, that can change day to day but that has been the starting crew for the first 4.

Name another sport that has not done well, and when I say well I mean relative to the expectations at SK, over the last 5-10 years.

Steiner has been overheard saying that he wants only gym rats on his teams and that he really has no use for 2 or 3 sport athletes. That has shown. He loses a lot of kids to football and baseball every year. That is why he has freshman and 8th graders playing. It is absolutely a joke that a school the size of SK can't field an experienced basketball team. All other sports at SK are doing well and winning. Boys basketball is the only down sport. Maybe it's time for a change.

He is from Covington. Grew up in Covington. His family went to Holmes. He went to Holmes his Freshman year and had to sit out his Sophomore year because he transferred.

That is an absolute murderer's row. I guess the only "Get-Healthy" games would be against Boone and Campbell. It would make them either A. A LOT tougher when it came to playoff time or B. fold up like a cheap suit.

I can't believe that I'm defending him but here goes. All I read about on here is how SK never plays anybody and blah blah blah. The question arises as to who you would like your team to play and he says that he would like to see SK play the state's big boys. You guys then rag on him and say that he wouldn't like to see that happen. You have to start somewhere and win, lose, or draw I think we all agree that it would help SK if they stepped it up a bit. Give the guy credit for, at least, wanting to see it happen. While the thought that SK would win may be a tad bit deranged at this point, if they scheduled 2 or 3 of these teams year in and year out, we could all start seeing a little bit of a shift/balance in power. You never know. It has to happen first though.
