Patterson road directly behind the high street lot is where I always park. I get to all UK home games 2 hrs before tip, and there are always free spots on the street there. I’ll be doing the same for the sweet16, hopefully this holds true

i can attest to the kids excitement about these new helmets. anytime you can get young people to feel good about what they have and how they look doing what they love to do, its a win! ill compare it to my beloved Wildcats, when they wear those chrome helmets they seem to play with a chip on their shoulder and with a little more swagger...Hopefully we can get the same response out of our Titans, this fall!

I’ve got a question/concern about how theses seats are designated. I’ve got very limited experience going to the boys Sweet16 but I have been to the last 4 girls tournaments, which of course were at NKU. At Northern the sections were split up by school, but all tickets had a row and seat. This meant that families either got split up, or fans would just work things out to where it wasn’t an issue. Hardly anyone would actually be in the seat listed on their ticket. That makes me wonder why the arena/KHSAA doesn’t just make the tickets GA, general admission, and make it first come/first serve. They could still put a section on there, but to me this would alleviate a lot of separation issues. IDK if this is even an issue at Rupp, or it could be I’m in the minority, Seeing it as a problem.

This didn’t age well at all as the Titans fell to fellow 12th region foe Casey County tonight 62-59. Streak broken

I know they are very young, but it would not surprise me to see the unbeaten by a 12th region foe, continue into next year and beyond. Very impressive program!

I get why they fell out this week, but IMO Woodford County should still be a top 20 team. They have wins against GRC, Frankfort, Collins and Lafayette. They also gave Scott County all they wanted at Scott County only loosing by 2 in the Toyota Classic. The Anderson County game was obviously a head scratcher, but they bounced back well with a blowout win against West Jessamine by 25. I would put this team in the 15-20 range and ahead of teams like Frankfort and LCA.

I think it’s great to see two teams that are usually middle of the pack or lower, showing the Lexington and Scott County schools, that they’ve got some serious competition for the 11th region crown. Good luck to both these teams, going forward

Woodford county with yet another impressive win.

Not sure about next year, but THIS years Woodford team, IMO, is dangerous. Possibly a top 20 team in the state now, but with their schedule, that will become more clear before district tournaments start

Was Kaelin Drakeford back for Mercer? If so how did he look?

How far away from the top 20 would anyone say Woodford County is? Would a win vs. GRC be enough to get them there next week?

Feed the big guy, and they will be much improved. Trey James is a special talent and a treat to watch. He’s more of a traditional big, but don’t be surprised to see a little of his older brothers shooting ability, become a part of his game too. Should be a fun year!

Anderson County is going to end Highlands season tonight. The Bearcats are tough at home, and although I’m not an expert on The Birds, I just feel like it’s one of those special seasons for AC. I’ve got no personal investment, but they are a local team to me, so I guess it’s a bit of a homer pick!

When Will Jamison Lewis be ready to go? I know he had a pretty serious injury very early in the Titans football season.
