If Mercer can open district play with a win at Christian Academy Louisville, they will solidify a spot in the top ten. Big opportunity for them to make a statement.

If Reed were a little taller, he would have as many offers as his teammates. He will be an outstanding college quarterback and someone needs to recognize that and get him an offer. His poise in the pocket and his accuracy make him unique among high school qbs I’ve seen. Pretty good deep ball too! Let’s not forget to mention another can’t miss D1 kid is the young kicker. Jackson Smith. Think he plays a little wide receiver too, but his meal ticket most likely will be his kicking.

I’ve seen this group of seniors since they were freshman and one of them since little league days. I’m not an expert, but if you’ve not seen this group play, you owe it to yourself to catch a game or two. They have weapons all over the field and are really fun to watch. Some top notch talent on both sides of the ball. If there is a better team in 4A, I would really like to see them, as well. My prediction is that, if they can stay healthy, they will run away with the 4A title.
