Like centre said, limiting possessions, mercer typically scores in the high 70's and may not this game. Boyle will force everyone they play to pick their spots. You would be hard pressed to get in a track meet with these guys!

I hope pp92, or someone will be updating! I can't make this one and hate it! I'm thinking this could be another game kinda like the Anderson game was only a little lower scoring. Probably goes back a forth thru 3 quarters, with Mercer pulling it out in the 4th. 61-54. I know from the Boyle side there are more heated rivalries, but for Mercer this is as big as it gets! It should be a great atmosphere!!

Is Christian county still unbeaten vs. in state teams...... Or am I mistaken and that was someone else all together?

Trevon Faulkner, to me, is the glue for this team. In the "test" that was AC last week, he took over periods of that game. Put the team on his back and drove the lane with wreck less abandon, the whole time being absolutely ripped by the colorful student section. This guy never flinched at a 12 pt. hole. Of course Will and Dylan did their part too, but I'm not sure they walk out with the W, if not for the poise shown by Trevon. I'm a "homer" so of course I'm going to say that Mercer is most definitely the #1 team in the state! All I know for sure though, is that they are the most fun to watch, of any high school team I've ever been around

Going to catch the Titans at Anderson tomorrow night. Hopefully there won't be any tired legs. Looking forward to seeing how they come out. Anderson is a tough team to figure out. I would bet they give my Titans all they want! Should be fun

I have been swept up in the excitement surrounding or Mercer county boys basketball team and look forward to discussing all the top prep teams in the state. Thanks guru for the warm welcome.
