If this is true, then was this not a " declaration of war" on the responding officers?

Kentucky Senate Panel OKs Bill Overriding Local Fairness Laws
#99 replied to theguru's topic in Controversial Issues
So you come into my place of business and I refuse to provide a service for you. first , I don't need to tell you why. Second, why can't you just go down the road to the next place that will provide the service for you? Why would society not function like this? Bad business move on my part maybe, but instead of crying that I won't serve you, just go to someone who will. -

As a business move, denying to provide service to someone because you don't believe in their way of life is costing you money and can make you look bad to other clients and future sales. But that's on you. Nobody should be able to tell you that you have to provide services for anyone that asks! I'm not siding with all business owners for their decisions. Just saying we don't need government telling us what we can and can't do -

I agree with the first part of your statement, but I would not call her a"larger girl". I guess what I call a larger person and some other people call a larger person are two different opinions. But i do see that your name is- TOOTHPICK. lol -

You should be able to say no period. It's business, its your loss of profit for turning down the job, someone else will do it im sure. I like the bill. -

Any privately owned business should not be told what who they can or can't provide services for. Has nothing to do with religion. It doesn't matter if your religious beliefs don't agree with the customers way of life or not. If you do not want to do business with them, it should be your choice. Nobody should be able to tell you otherwise. I don't do business with people I choose not to all the time, for various reasons. -
AT&T sues Louisville over utility pole law adopted for Google Fiber
#99 replied to TheDeuce's topic in Controversial Issues
You can't just stick a new pole anywhere you want. Utility poles typically run along the roadways, in the right of way which is owned by whoever owns and maintains the road. Most utility poles are owned by the power companies, but some are owned by the phone company. AT&T has a legit case if they own the poles that the city granted access to, as long as they didn't turn over the rights to the poles to the city previously. I will agree with other posters that AT&T and TWC both are horrible and overpriced -
As I've said on other threads, HERE WE GO AGAIN CATERING TO THE MINORITY. Trying to make a select few ( very very small percentage) feel comfortable. And in doing so making the MAJORITY feel very uncomfortable! This is an unjustifiable law.

After the first three quarters I thought the score was gonna be about 40-25....HC made the adjustments that they needed to after the last meeting and it paid off. I said they would win by 12, but I was thinking more of a score like 62-50. But 16 is even better! Congrats Indians, see you Saturday night.

Congrats Indians! Was a good game all the way.

I guess your one of the ones who have been named " smarter than 99% of the people on here" so you get to say what you want and it's golden? As far as posting "junk" in other threads, I may have stated that something was said that had no relevance to the thread, but didn't jump on anyone for it. But thanks for being the '' Almighty correction police " -

Why can't people just stick to thread topic? It happens on every thread... My word for him: excelling Hope he keeps it up as we are season ticket holders at Nku. It's been great seeing Jake Geisler and Drew McDonald play at Nku.
