  1. Purple 88, so sorry for you and your family at the loss of your father.
  2. The only injury I know of, shoulder, happened in the Dayton game.
  3. Where is the 39th District Tournament held this year?
  4. One of the biggest traits I've noticed about millennials is that they do not revere, value or respect the elderly. A person pretty much gets elbowed out of the way in line, on the road, in crowds or on buses. They give you a look like "How the hell old are you grandma? Why don't you just hurry up and die", I do not mean my relatives. I'm not being critical, I'm just trying to make you understand how badly it feels when someone calls you "old". In your post #148 you comment that whenever you're in OTR, you put your name in to 3 or 4 restaurants, then leave to go to a bar then whichever restaurant calls you first gets your business. Do you then call the 2 or 3 other restaurants to cancel your name from their lists? Another thing that younger people don't realize, I know my hearing is not perfect, but sometimes I think I've forgotten the English language until I realize someone is speaking in texting language. Once on here I did not understand an abbreviation. One person proceeded to tell me to get with the program Mamaw. The next kindly told me where I could find a text dictionary. Needless to say, when I saw the post saying BGP would like for everyone to have an avatar. Believe me I'm learning how to do it on my own. For all you millennials remember, "Being young is a fault that diminishes daily".
  5. 7 Robertson County 5 St. Patrick 3 Nicholas County 2 Boone County 1 Ripley, Ohio TB St. Patrick
  6. We sold the business and officially retired, as of 12/31/2015. Papaw still does some consulting work.
  7. Might want to take a look at tonight's Western Kentucky starting lineup against Marshall!
  8. Jake Ohmer making his first start as Freshman at Western Kentucky tonight against Marshall.
  9. I did not realize Taylor Clos was all time leading scorer at Campbell County, boys and girls.
  10. I'm enjoying watching WKU. Hope Stansbury does stay and rebuild the program. They graduate several seniors but they have some really good young players. Of course, there's that 10th Region connection with Jake Ohmer.
  11. Swept many a floor in my life, don't anymore, it's a killer for my back. Thank goodness Papaw is retired. Played a lot of shuffleboard in the winter during indoor recess while in elementary school. At my age? Curling looks a heck of a lot easier than sliding into second or home.
  12. Like my name says, I love them all. And I sincerely do like to watch curling. Could be my age. Have to steal the remote from Papaw to watch it.
  13. Me, too. I didn't have her for Math but she was good friends with my older sister and she would spend nights at our house. The boys both had her and it really mattered that she prepared them well for their careers. She's doing really well and works with a group of ladies each week organizing some of the oldest court records in Kentucky. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Mrs. McGee was worth it.
  14. Guess you can tell Mrs. McGee isn't head of the Math Department at BCHS anymore.
  15. While you're at it, get the number of the official from the Patriots-Jaguars game that's been shown on ESPN congratulating Brady. Eagles better hope he is not officiating the Super Bowl.:scared:
  16. The two school systems have historically traded off on students in BC district going to AIS, and vice versa. Saw a message that BCBOE sent subpoenas to the AISBOE. Just was wondering.
