From a novice pair of star gazers, thank you for all the info. Papaw and I would miss some of these without your posts. I've loaded the dates for 2018 on my calendar with a reminder the day before. It takes a while for Papaw and I to get our telescope set up on the patio. Can't leave it out because we have grandchildren who are sportsaholics. Then again, maybe they would enjoy it with us. Thanks again and we have enjoyed your posts from 2017.

That conversation is NOT for tonight. It was a Saints win. This game meant a lot, and the Saints worked as a team to get it. Every time they got down, they did the work needed to go back on top. It was a good game and Augusta wanted it too.

Speaking of the Wisconsin-Western Kentucky game, was anyone else watching that game? The finish was unbelievable for a Division 1 game.

He is enrolled at St.Patrick and has been attending classes. He IS NOT practicing with the team at all, not even touching the ball, and has not been sitting on the bench during games.

Terrible to have to tell personal stuff like this for public discussion. Divorce is traumatic enough for the children, get off the young ballplayer's case.

Sumo, anyone who believes that has never experienced high school basketball at it's finest. Or maybe it's worst. Have watched it happen time and again. But no, I don't think any player DESERVES to start just because they have put in their time for the other three years. People, they are unpredictable young people and it's a game.

I could not believe the brightness of Hale-Bopp, we could see it for several days. We had a small very basic telescope when Haley's came across and decided to buy a better one. But with two boys and school and all their extracurricular activities. We had not gotten a better one when Hale-Bopp made it's spectacular night show. We have a good telescope now and just haven't been using it. Now you have me hooked for sure. August meteor showers hope the moon isn't bright? And then the Eclipse, the meteor showers in October, November and December. Back to Hale-Bop, but it was so special to see the unexpected. And twin tails! Surprised us! Sad thing I remember those people who all died in that Heaven's Gate Cult. Thanks for all your knowledge you share. S.F.
